: Syriana : savage727 February 01, 2006, 05:30:55 PM A very interesting and well made movie that shows the interaction of Government and Big Business in the Middle East Oil quandry. There are multiple storylines being followed in the movie and they all impact upon one another to the closing scene. Outstanding acting by everyone. This is the kind of movie that makes you think. Highly recommended. This one should garner some Oscar nominations.

George Clooney and Matt Damon are two of the main characters as is the actor who played Dr. Bashir on Star Trek - I can't recall his name. He plays an Arab Prince in whose country the movie takes place. He does a great job too! Several of the actors who play roles in the American Texas Oil Company are recognizable but again their names escape me. |
