Hi guys, we heard rumours about this before but rather imagined it had gone on the backburner... we were wrong!



Harry Potter Goblet of Fire Trading Card Factory Sets releasing this week.

Limited to 1000 sets.

The RRP will be £29-99 and each boxed factory set includes :

80 Card Basic Set

8 Embossed Art Cards   

4 Foil Triwizard Cards

This is a wholly new series and bears no relation to any other series that has been released worldwide

This set is amazing!
I would love to get a few boxes of this!

Do you know the ratios for the the cards?
Is it possible to get base in one box etc etc.

I believe it's a factory set - so yes, everything should be in the one box :)

Awsome :D I will definitely have to get a box of this. To bad they don't have costumes and props like the Artbox set because this is definitely more beautifully done. Plus, this one has Heat Reavelz ;) :rofl:

What will the cost be on these?  I would be interested in one as well.

£24.99 - sorry not sure what that is in dollars  :)

Depends on the exchange rate .... if it's £1.00 = $1.72US, then it works out to roughly $43.00US which in turn is probably rounded up to $45.00.
Don't quote me as Gospel on this, I'm just doing a very rough conversion based on recent £ to $US rates. ;)

Is it just me or does Dan look incredibly short in the Disturbance at the Campsite card  ::)  Also some of the pictures don't look familiar - could they be deleted scenes  :o=

Oh I don't think there's any element of chance on this set Mike - you're buying the complete set ... inserts ... everything for that price!
I imagine that if any people manage to get hold of them to resell in the US then they will probably charge more than $45 ... I don't mean dealers/distributors either, I mean private individuals. ;)

Sharon - these might contain images which will be used in the GOFU set! :o

I hope they do use these in GOFU - they look much nicer pictures  ;D

Actually, Roz's post says £29.99, so that's more like $52.93.  I imagine you'll be able to find them in the states for just under $50.  Still not a bad deal on what looks like a very nice factory set.

My sets showed up today! :D  Something finally arrived from the UK under the predicted time. ::)

This is a great looking set.  If Artbox is really going to do factory sets, Cards Inc. have set the bar pretty high.

Its a nice set I love the art cards they are great. But do the champs cards do anything? I can't get them too ???

Roz said their heat wave cards(?) if I'm correct then you hold it in your hand till your body heat gets it warm and the name of the champ should appear or something like that (I dont have mine yet :-X)

They already have their names. I tried warming them but couldn't spot anything :-(

Oh well, maybe I can try something when I get mine :-\

Well, I haven't played with my set yet, but the image name on the info I was sent said "heat revealz cards", which implies something is revealed with heat... I'll take a look in the morning... and if I ruin my cards over a steaming kettle then I'll just have to winge ;D

Try a holding a hot drink in your hands for a few minutes so they're nice and toasty warm and after putting the drink down safely .... then try holding the cards in your hands to what happens next. ;)

Well, I got out one of my sets to play with.  Hands warming the Triwizard Champion cards did nothing... :(

Moved up to the heat gun.  Still nothing.  Went as far up the temperature scale as I dared without ruining the card. :o

These appear to just be foil cards.  Looking back at the information Cards Inc. sent out when they became available, they just called them "foil Triwizard cards."  No mention of heat revealz, but it is odd that the image was labled that way... ???

I think they are not heat reveals at all. I noticed they are hard to see but when I put it under a light a tilt it it lookes like "magic" as it lights up ;D

Yeah - it's odd - I wonder what it is about Heat revealing cards that seem to get cancelled?? ::)

I was decidedly underwhelmed with these cards when I saw them - very disappointed in fact! :-\
Eh well ....  :P

I must admit when I got my set I fell in love with them straight away.  I think the little portrait ones are gorgeous and even the base cards are now my favourite of any set.

This set is really nice and cool.
Especially the base cards,some of images are attractive than Artbox GOF.

well i wanted the cards and I love to buy from Tom because he is a fantastic seller  so i just couldn't resist
