I can't tell you. Come on - we're much further ahead with info than anyone else. Where are my VERONICA Mars details - and that sets releasing next month!!!
Haven't you heard that the longer a soup cooks, the better it gets? : Re: star trek 40th anniversary : saruman January 10, 2006, 09:29:52 PM its true Rittenhouse are great on the info but much wants more i suppose ;D. i just can't wait for the set. i'm thinking this will be good soup with the anticipation alone! ;D
: Re: star trek 40th anniversary : Roz January 10, 2006, 09:31:31 PM I don't know why you had to suddenly insult British cooking (not that we are sensitive or anything ;)) soup's my specialty and I always cook it a long time ;) (not too long - my stomach starts to rumble otherwise ;))
I want info on this too - and I'll stamp my fist on the table with you Cian ;D (just kidding... but we have been waiting 40 years for this... no.. wait... I'm only 25) : Re: star trek 40th anniversary : saruman January 10, 2006, 09:35:07 PM lol i'm 19 but we have still been waiting 40 yrs. before we were born we were just waitng for this set, thinking what the box would be like and the inserts. i have only seen series 1 and the movies so thus and not worthy.
speaking of soup i just had a grey mush called soup and it was not exactly a good sign for Irish of British cooking. ugh.thats the one college thing i didn't miss. the canteen : Re: star trek 40th anniversary : Rich65 January 12, 2006, 02:30:34 PM I would love for this set to be the best yet. Especially autograph wise. All main cast and top guest stars. I know thats lot to ask but I can be hopeful. :o=
I guess We'll see. : Re: star trek 40th anniversary : saruman January 12, 2006, 03:44:04 PM ya i wonder will there be any prop cards like Rittenhouse had for stargate although i guess that would be hard now the series are all finished . although paramount must have some suitable stuff :o=
: Re: star trek 40th anniversary : saruman January 19, 2006, 11:18:12 PM i went to the dark side to get thins information and it may not be right but this is whats they hear

Wow! :o 40 costumes is more than the Xena Beauty and Brawn set had and I'm still trying to get all those costumes with the various variants. :-\ I wonder how many of those 40 cards will have variants too. :-\ : Re: star trek 40th anniversary : saruman January 21, 2006, 08:34:35 AM here is the kirk auto costume. i can't wait :o= please be from screen used costumes

Robert from Rittenhouse has posted elsewhere that some of this information has already changed, no mention of exactly what that might be though. Looks like an incredibly difficult set to put together. Ed : Re: star trek 40th anniversary : sketchqueen February 11, 2006, 02:01:39 AM It's not that the information has changed, it's just that it's wrong. Consider everything you hear a Rumour, unless you get it directly from Rittenhouse. It's easier that way :)
: Re: star trek 40th anniversary : saruman March 15, 2006, 01:31:32 AM at last we have the information from the horse's mouth
http://www.scifihobby.com/products/displaysetdetails.cfm?SetID=137 i can't wait, here is hoping for a spock costume card and a picard one.......ah there are so many i want actually. tyhis set shall bankrupt me ;D : Re: star trek 40th anniversary : sketchqueen March 15, 2006, 01:41:19 AM Glad to hear you're excited :)
: Re: star trek 40th anniversary : emmafan March 15, 2006, 01:47:23 AM Wow! Talk about a nice difficult master set. Should be fun to open some packs with such a nice variety of costumes. I do love that they have such a great 2 case incentive card as well. That looks like it could be a very very nice card. I guess I'm over sensitized by all the 10 and 25 case incentive cards for HP, but it what a great card to have for buying just two cases.
Looks like a great set, I might have to look into it a bit more.... >:D : Re: star trek 40th anniversary : sketchqueen March 15, 2006, 01:57:09 AM It really shouldn't be *that* hard. Considering some other sets I've collected myself. The 40 costume cards are 2 per box, so you figure 20 boxes minumum (and trade dupes), which is a case and a half. No idea on the auto'd costume cards, but I'd bet they'd be a bit harder to get. I figure it's got to be easier than LOTR: E and tracking down even 1 of every sketch ... But, I'm a sketch girl and that's my passion so, you know, I work with it ;)
: Re: star trek 40th anniversary : RupT March 15, 2006, 02:49:55 AM You know, apart from Stargate, there has been very little that has enticed me to collect almost everthing form a recent RA release (especially Star Trek - i.e. TOS Quotable, TNG Quotable AND ST: A&I) But this set has my heart racing again.. and hey i might even buy a box or two!!! Well done RA!!
: Re: star trek 40th anniversary : grecopa March 15, 2006, 03:08:59 AM Just in time for my birthday. ;D I'm hoping to get a Spock card, as well as Sulu and Chekhov. I really like the way that Rittenhouse keeps the same design on the anniversary sets.
: Re: star trek 40th anniversary : grecopa June 21, 2006, 08:36:05 AM Tomorrow! Tomorrow! I love ya, tomorrow! :D
Pictures are up on the Rittenhouse site. 8) : Re: star trek 40th anniversary : kbmum June 21, 2006, 08:40:08 AM Getting a box or two, Kelly? :)
: Re: star trek 40th anniversary : grecopa June 21, 2006, 08:49:51 AM Nope, just waiting to get some vintage costumes. Spock, Chekhov and Sulu double costume! ;D Then all I'll need is an Uhura costume from a previous set and I'll be golden! ;D She's pretty expensive though so I may be doing a lot of waiting on that one.
: Re: star trek 40th anniversary : bush360 June 23, 2006, 06:36:31 PM Hi There

Rich : Re: star trek 40th anniversary : saruman June 23, 2006, 08:39:56 PM does anyone know what the back of the costume cards says. just curious. this set looks amazing though and i can't wait to get my cards.

: Re: star trek 40th anniversary : gimli June 27, 2006, 11:21:57 PM ohh exciting tomorrow is the day for me too
: Re: star trek 40th anniversary : bush360 June 28, 2006, 11:58:48 PM Howdy
I can confirm I have my 2 cases today wierdly enough one case was a UK case and the other was a US case not sure why. I will post my breakdowns once opened. ;D : Re: star trek 40th anniversary : gimli June 29, 2006, 12:05:18 AM I have just finished opening 4 cases 2 UK and 2 US
no complete master set missing William Shatner Auto Costume 1 of the motion cards and 6 costumes all together i got 3 x Archer auto Costumes 3 x 7 of 9 auto Costumes 2 x Data auto Costume 1 x Sisko auto Costume 95 Costumes 2 more cases arriving tomorrow (due to getting left behind by UPS) : Re: star trek 40th anniversary : bush360 June 29, 2006, 03:24:28 AM Just Finished opening my first case which was a American case :
I will keep it short what I got like gimli above : Auto Costumes : Captain Archer x 1 Data x 1 Costumes : 24 of all kinds no duplicates ;D But missing loads well 16. : Re: star trek 40th anniversary : gimli June 29, 2006, 12:35:06 PM It doesn't give the oddds for auto costumes on rittenhouses site but the checklist does say 1 : 240 packs
so it should be 2 per case The archive box label that is on ebay says This specially marked ARCHIVE BOX contains all 40 Costume Cards, 52 ARTifex cards, 17 TV Guide Cover Cards, 6 First Officer Cards and 5 Box Topper Cards inserted within foil packs and boxes of the Star Trek 40th Anniversary trading cards. there is no mention of the 5 signed costumes or the chase set from the UK cases : Re: star trek 40th anniversary : bush360 June 29, 2006, 06:31:31 PM 2nd case opened was a UK Case this time:
Auto Costumes: Brent Spiner x 1 Captain Archer x 1 Jeri Ryan x 1 Costumes x 24 cards 8 missing for complete costume set. : Re: star trek 40th anniversary : allender July 02, 2006, 08:05:52 PM does anyone know what the back of the costume cards says. just curious. this set looks amazing though and i can't wait to get my cards. I'm interested in that too, since my stuff is probably going to take a while to show up. (I'm sharing a case with somebody in another town.)In particular, I wonder if the costume cards often show the episodes they were used for. Thanks! : Re: star trek 40th anniversary : renrutha July 02, 2006, 09:01:15 PM I can help there. It is very non-committal on the back. It says
"this card contains an authentic piece of (show logo here, in this case it says) Star Trek Voyager costume material". No actor name. No character name. No show details. I only have one card so far : Re: star trek 40th anniversary : Bryanjs14 July 02, 2006, 09:16:32 PM Inkworks prints out in detail the person who wore it, their character name, and the episode, and the season it was worn in...Rittenhouse I do not believe has ever done that (correct me if I am wrong)
: Re: star trek 40th anniversary : renrutha July 02, 2006, 09:44:52 PM In the case of many of the Star Trek costumes there's every chance they were worn on multiple episodes, and who knows, maybe more than one series. They are mostly uniforms.
: Re: star trek 40th anniversary : grecopa July 03, 2006, 01:28:19 AM Sketchqueen (Joanna) told me, and please correct me if I got this wrong Joanna, that at least the vintage costumes of Spock, Sulu and Chekhov are from extra uniforms from the show that they may or may not have worn during an episode. That's OK with me for the vintage stuff. I'm just happy to have it. ;D
