For some reason I'd love to see Snape do it. I don't like Snape much but I like Lucius even less and for some reason their past connection would make it even juicier if Snape did it.

I think you have been too spoilt by the LOTR battles  ;D. IMO, I reckon Arthur Weasley will take down ol' Lucius. Thats if Roz doesn't get in there first  ;D

With all those thousands of intelligently created uruks on a computer hurrying about killing each other - how can a battle with 7 people and a dragon impress you  ;)

Fortunately there is loads of time for the computer graphics industry to improve before they are making a film of the 7th book - after all the 6th book isn't even written yet!

Yeah actually if he does die I think there's a high chance it will be Voldemort that finished him off.

What happens if Malfoy is just acting like he is a bad guy but really is on the side of good - you know like a deep undcover plant or mole.  That would surely throw a monkey wrench into everyone's thinking !   ;)

I love it - "the family seemed rotten before big V appeared on the scene".   :)  As an old radio serial from the 1930's (The Shadow) says "Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men - The Shadow knows" and in this case our "Shadow" is JK Rowling and she isn't telling yet!

I don't think Lucius is that loyal either, definitely more so than Pettigrew, but he could have surely been able to come up for a reason for being away, get his wife to cover for him or something. I think pettigrew's wavering loyalty would be more an issue with people like Barty Crouch Jr (remember what he said to Harry in GoF - the one thing i hate most is a Death Eater that walked free) or the Lestranges (fanatical followers who actually went to prison) and believe that everyone else was disloyal because they claimed they were under the imperius curse and didn't try to find him.

When Voldemort said something about this to Lucius, he seem lost for woords, but Voldemort forgave him, I guess cos he was pretty loyal in the past. I think Lucius is rather self-serving, he kept his anti-muggle, pureblood beliefs up but he would abandon Voldemort when he lost power

On the showmasters forum members have been saying the book is to be released it 2 years time...it cannot be surely  :-\ can it?

Welll the gap between GoF and OotP was 3 years... but Jk says Book 6 won't be as big as OotP, so maybe in another year or so if the showmasters forum is correct!

from what i heard she hopes to finish it this year and have it out around june of next year.so that would be good
