I'm not sure I want to dredge up any funny (embarrassing) moments from my school days!  However, my first grader is going to her very first after school dance on Friday.  That should be pretty funny!

Being home schooled you don't have that many embarrassing/funny moments. Alto I do remember tripping over the bed during are second grade play Little Red Riding Hood. I was the Big Bad Wolf 8)

Well. I have a deep dark secret from school - anyone wanna hear it? In retrospect it's really funny, but at the time it was just really sad...

So, around the time that I was in 5th grade (maybe 9 or 10 years old) my parents were doing nothing but fighting -they divorced thankfully when I was 13 -- and I was feeling rather alone. So I created an identical twin named Kara who lived, coincidentally in England. I made up the most fantastic stories - and for the most part my class believed me. Until the day one asked me what time it was in England. Not being as saavy as I am now, I guessed and whatever the guess, it was so totally wrong that I was BUSTED ;)

I did learn a very valuable lesson. Before telling bold-faced lies, make sure you get your facts straight :)

I had an imaginary friend name Casey who had a son that lived in Australia ;D And every so often he'd leave to go visit him :D His son's name was Sydney

I didn't get busted having him as a friend because I mostly just sat in my room talking to my self :P But I stopped believing in imaginary friends when I had a dream that everyone thought I was crazy because I saw something that wasn't really there. My mom said it was my conscious telling me it was time to get over that faze of life

A guy in our class used to run his fingernails down the chalkboard every time he walked into a lesson.

And I broke a chair once.  I was leaning back on it (as you do - still do it now in work) and it had metal legs and me being somewhat overweight, the welds gave way and the legs bent.

So I bent them back, swapped it with someone elses and when they sat on it...

5th graders did that to the 4th grades in Elementary School here the week before we all graduated to the 6th grade. Part of the tradition of 5th grade pranks (kind of like Senior ones). You are like are leagen or something
