: "The Batman" by Topps : sketchqueen November 16, 2005, 10:20:10 PM Recently we opened a case of The Batman trading cards recently released by Topps. The product was originally solicited as having "Sketch cards" with no odds, but after release we learned that there were not one, but 2 TWO sketch cards in each box, and so, I couldn't refuse.
We ended up with a really nice selection of sketches - not the typical duplication I've come to expect from Topps, but I did hear of cases where the massive sketch duplication occurred. Ended up pulling I think 2 of the "rare" artists sketches, a nice variety of colors and inks, so we were happy ... BUT We're left with quite literally a ton of cards - I can put together base sets for anyone interested - they'd be about $5 shipped (may be different of course depending where you live) - so if anyone wants one, let me know, else they'll be going into the garbage this weekend. The base cards themselves are from the currently airing Batman animated series - not the one that aired in the 90's. Just as a clarifier... |
