Does anyone know if it's too late to send in the redemption cards for Azkaban update?  They say 11.03.05 on the back.  Is that November 3rd or 11th March?  If it's November 3rd do you think they will accept them now?

The deadline was November 3, 2005.  You should send an email to Artbox to see if they have any autos left.

I just sent two of my redemptions for the PoAU set to them on November 2nd via Priority Mail with confirmation. I emailed them on the third and this is what they told me:


The delivery confirmation told me that it left the Irvine Post Office on the Fourth. Since it's was sent before the expiration date, I can't be sure if they would accept any afterwards. My guesses are they will keep accepting redemptions as long as they have the card available. But, it wouldn't hurt to send them an email ;)

Well I mailed them and they said "send them in asap" - so I did  :)

When you get the autos, you'll have letters with them.  In the top right, you'll find a number -- it's the number of redeemed cards for that particular auto.  Please let us know what they are!

Right, I got my auto's back today.  Here are the numbers on the letters they enclosed

Ernie Prang - 243
Ernie Prang - 246
Uncle Vernon - 176

They didn't send back the redemption cards though.  In the past I've had those back with a hole punched through.

Artbox doesn't retun the redemption cards (never for me anyways), but I know Inkworks does.

Those numbers seem low, considering how many of those cards have shown up on eBay.  Guess people didn't want to keep them for their collections.  Artbox won't return the redemption cards, because they don't want them to be reused.

Yes, they cite "security reasons" but there's not much you can do to redeem a card with a hole in it is there ::)

They probably don't want to go through the trouble of voiding the redemption and returning the card.

Since some collectors want the redemption and the auto, I wonder what they'll do about the expensive Ron card?

Up until now I have kept both redemption and auto, but I think this is the point where I draw the line ;)

I'm in the same boat with Roz.  There is no way I'm going to get another Ron auto just to keep a redemption card. ::)  One will have to do for this set. ;)

I have just sent off my last redemption cards from POA & POA Update as Artbox said they will still redeem them. ;D

I received my Madam Rosmerta auto today  ;D  It is really lovely.  And just for the record the number on the letter was 170 which seems pretty high.  Julie Christie is obviously very popular   ;)

That's good news they're still honouring the redemptions Sharon and I wonder how many she actually signed in total?
I bet there will be quite a few left unclaimed at Artbox with people keeping hold of the unredemmed cards in their collections. ::)

Well I certainly have another unredeemed redemption (and it will stay that way  ;) ).  That is why I was shocked to see at least 170 have been sent out.  I can't imagine Julie signing 500 cards or something  :o  She is too big a star.  That has made me think that more people have gone for the auto rather than keeping a redemption.

I think there are prob 10-25 of the redemptions still in boxes somewhere...I bet there are at least 30 cases out there left unopened

So if she did do 250 and we are guessing say 25 are still in boxes then only about 50 or so redemption's are out (of packets) but unredeemed.  For a relatively cheap auto I would think this is a very high percentage to have actually been sent to Artbox.  But then again Julie Christie is just so well known in the UK, not sure if she is as famous in the US  :-\

Nope...I am a big movie person, and to be honest (although I am sure she has been in plenty of movies, I just wasn't looking for her) I didn't even know who she was until I saw Potter and started collecting the cards.

LOL, well...
I went onto IMDB to see what she is in and sure enough, I have seen plenty of films with her....I just didn't know it was her at the time. I actually own Demon Seed (a decent horror film from the 70's) and it's funny, because on the cover of the DVD is even says in big bold letters "Julie Christie IS THE DEMON SEED" I just never connected the two, and I just bought the dvd in October...so I should have been able to figure it out. Also, again, just not connecting it, she plays Kate Winslets mother in Finding Neverland...a movie that was my second favorite movie of 2004 and one I have seen about 6 times.

I sent my last of 6 Julie Christie Redemptions in last week.

I just think that the Auto will always be worth more than the Unredeemed Redemption Card.

Yes she does. Her true 'value' as a character hasn't appeared in the films yet

Let's just keep our fingers (and toes) tightly crossed that the next directors keep that part of the storyline in the films! :-\
