There is a semi regular Sunday one at Kings Cross (although they class it as Camden, which is technically correct but not very helpful when trying to find it >:() )

I would have suggested the Excel ones (this is at Beckton) but the last one Bogleg went to wasn't very good and they are not very often - a few times a year.  They hold a show at Basildon every so often.  It has now moved to the actual shopping centre so is pretty easy to get to.

The only shops I know of are pretty pricey ie the Lakeside one or Forbidden Planet.  Why not try buying on the internet but not on Ebay?  There are a lot of dealers - Collector Zone, Card Collectors, UK Trading Cards etc. who, in my opinion are very, very reliable.

When I see Bogleg I will ask him to post some more places for you (he is the convention visitor  :) )

Why is there a Camden everywhere?  I live right near one, and I am in NJ, in the US.

Well apparently Camden is a bummer - the show no longer exists.  They have moved to the Royal National Hotel - not sure if this is the one you mentioned farscaped.  As for Basildon, Graham says it's nick-name is Basildoom  ;).  Still he goes to a lot of them so it can't be that bad.

I know what you mean about place names though - I hear tons of places on the news that are in the US and think 'I know that'  ;D

America  had trouble thinking of new names and stole all of ours... cheeky! ;D

Farscaped, there are some shows like the "London Film and Comic Con" where the full detail of dealers usually make it to London (often held at Wembley but it changes) and "London Expo" - good for guests and anime but not so many card dealers - that takes place at EXCEL in Docklands. But if you want some real action I'd go to "Memorabilia" (26th-27th November) at NEC Birmingham and "Collectormania" - very good for guests and pretty good for card dealers, but that's in Milton Keynes.

This is one case where London is not the centre of everything - I'm a big fan of London, but it's true.

The London Film and Comic Con is now held at Earl's Court

http://www.londonfilmandcomiccon.com/

From memory, I'd say there were about a dozen or so card dealers although, with next years guests including Carrie Fisher and Maggie Grace (Shannon - Lost) plus three from Stargate, that might increase.
