I've heard that the new Stooges set from Breygent is live and shipping today. To celebrate we have teamed up with the big wigs at Breygent to bring you a new competition for a 2 case incentive Shemp sketch by Chris Henderson.

Only 3000 numbered boxes!

One Sketch Art Card ® , Costume or Prop Card in every box.

I already ordered my 2 boxes and binder for this set.  I would have liked to have ordered more, but the release date was too close to GoF. :-\  Thanks for this competition, I'll give it a go. ;)

Not really into the 3 stooges but the set looks like a nice one. Once again Warren M has the nicest sketches out of the lot...he is the best!

I think I have some stooges promo's at home though if anyone is interested then send me a pm...I will check it out tonight and see which ones I have.

I had to try my luck. I've always loved the Three Stooges ;D Even thought I cant spell Stooges right sometimes :rofl:

I've tried watching a couple of thier old movies, but they just leave me saying "whaaaa?"  ???  Now, if someone ever comes out with a Little Rascals set, I'll buy some of those!  The sketch cards for Stooges do look really good though.  Amazing what detail those artists can put on such a small space.  I just realized that the sketch cards Roz posted are a 3 card set!  They are both grabbing Mo's ears, how cool is that?  :o

I was a bad girl and got 6 more boxes of Three Stooges. :-[  Strangely, I recevied the 6 boxes yesterday (ordered on Friday, sent out on Saturday and received on Monday from across the US. :o ), but haven't received my other 2 boxes and binder yet. :-\  Maybe they'll be delivered today. :o=  Anyways, from the 6 boxes I opened, I got 3 costume cards and 3 Sketch Art cards (one was colored ;D ) - here are the scans:

Oh Lord those are awesome - and Anna I can't believe you got that coloured sketch!!! It's so cool. Although you do know it's sort of a set of three  >:D

Yeah, I know it's part of a 3-part set. ::)  Now I have to trawl eBay for the other two, but I'll wait until I get my other two boxes first, just in case. ;)

I was going to get a box after GOF but I'm wating for The Wizard Of Oz :D

That check card is really neat!  Is there a site that lists all the props? 

Mike, you're kidding about Wizard of Oz, right?  Because I would be all over that set if it was ever produced.  And so would about a million other Oz fans I'm sure.  ;D

Saturday morning pictures was never the same once they stopped showing "The Three Stooges" , but I got confused when one of them disappered and there was someone else in his place. The point of this message is: What three do you want the names of for the competition? Those in the card set, or three of the six that appeared in the films?

As far i noticed there are more than three of the stooges in the card set... whether they are in the base set or sketch/chase cards!!!

But alas, it is a good question.... which three are you asking for oh great competition herald of the Yakshak??

I thought about that when the comp started. I pondered it and then decided to go with the three most common. It also poses the question of: which names?  common names, birth names, or stage names? so there is alot of room for error, depending on the "correct" awnser.  there is actually 6 different "stooges".

one stooge got ill and couldn't continue, so they changed the 3rd stooge.

Thank you everyone.  I really can not wait to get this card.  I never hand pulled a sketch card. I only own three.  My sister got one from the one pack she bought of Star Wars at Wal-Mart and gave it to us (it is colored too - just blue and black).  I also won one at the NSU booth from that contest most of us entered with Joanne for the Philly Non-Sport card show.  That one is extremely detailed and really nice, but once I get this one, I know I will have a new favorite.  This one looks incredible in the picture.  Hard to believe all that detail can fit on to a little card....

But my next step is to know what it feels like to pull a sketch card from a pack.....looks like I may need to decide what sort of box to buy next :rofl:

Ah ... once you pull your first, you'll never go back ;) There's nothing quite like sketch cards -- 'course, I'm a little biased.. okay,  a LOT biased.

I like the prop cards and costume cards and autos, but for me, it's 100% sketch cards. Truth is, funny as this will sound, I've NEVER pulled a sketch card from one of my favorite series - Fleer Ultra Spider-Man 1997 - had to get all of those the old-fashioned way ... bought 'em. I know I opened at least a case of that product

I was planning on getting at least a box anyway, but was waiting for the next local card show since all my money went towards GoF and then the holidays.....but trust me, this will not be the last this set sees of me ;)

Here it is!!!  I love it.  It is amazing.  I will definitely be buying a box of this set.  I would like to thank Tom for the wonderful prize, and Roz and Mark for heading up the competition  :D  This sketch is in great detail!
