Nick Park doesn't seem as phased about it as I thought :o : Re: Aardman history lost!!! : Roz October 10, 2005, 06:24:36 PM I think he means in light of the problems of New Orleans, India, Pakistan and Bali.. but all the same this is devastating for them.
Reading on with their other stories: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/gloucestershire/4237402.stm "where would we park the car?" Now that's thinking big ::) I guess he's more interested in retiring than big business :) : Re: Aardman history lost!!! : ferdinand_the_yak October 10, 2005, 06:32:07 PM Ah dear - I just read that before you posted and I was having a bit of a giggle too ;D I think this whole W&G business has started me off on a personal quest for cheese discovery...mmmmmm... :D
: Re: Aardman history lost!!! : Roz October 10, 2005, 06:39:37 PM Most European countries could provide a backdrop for a cheese Odyssey, in France you must ensure to have a baguette with you at all times, in England, a box full of crackers such as water biscuits (honest... they are totally dry!), cream crackers or another quality cracker.
The list could go on for quite a time, but France and England probably show off most about their cheeses ::) well France show off (poking fun at our non-squidgey English cheeses) and the English just eat them quietly after desert (the French even do that differently, they have cheese before the pudding ::). : Re: Aardman history lost!!! : Morningangel-Iola October 10, 2005, 07:14:40 PM Aww how sad :(
: Re: Aardman history lost!!! : Roz October 10, 2005, 10:07:50 PM Get this - the American "press kit" given out at all launches etc and presumably sent to everyone related to the movie press got a CD full of images.
The UK press kit comes with a rather special cheese from the "Wensleydale Creamery". Flavour wise, this particular cheddar is made with cherry bell peppers & sundried tomatoes! Is that evidence enough for you that the UK has gone barmy? (sorry Jo but I did wait til I thought you'd be asleep until I started talking about cheese again :), by the time you read this the shops will be open and you'll be able to go and get some ;) ) : Re: Aardman history lost!!! : jediknight October 23, 2005, 03:32:27 PM no! not morph as well! :'( i liked him
