Hi guys

I have heard that there is supposed to be a pack on the front of the beano soon that WILL include inserts in the usual pack ratio (i.e. Props one in 24 and autos one in 48).

I believe it might start THIS THURSDAY so keep your eyes open folks!

Please post here if you have bought a beano with a pack of these cards attached (so that we know that they are available).

They are not available yet. Beano comes out every Thursday for 70p, but there's no guarantee it will be this week's issue either, just that it's due to happen soon.

My guess is that it will be the Artbox / Cards Inc Retail, ordinary, boring cards rather than the Artbox Hobby, exciting chase cards. I have absolutely no information to that effect & I hope I'm wrong. Just a guess.

Well in all fairness - 70px24 (a box) is only £16.80 - I guess it was too good to be true but at least we can tell from the odds on the pack before we  buy!

If they have all the good cards in then I think the readership of the Beano will shoot up considerably that week! "One case of Beanos, please!". But think about all the poor kids you will be depriving of their comic! Actually better not... better just buy them all up and think about how you will rid yourself of the guilt later...!

I shall stand outside WH smiths handing them out (erm... minus the packs... obviously) - sort of like an evil greedy Santa!

I know many of you already may know but to us in the United States Beano is used to relieve bloating and gas....so funny to read this thread..sorry, couldn't hold it in ::)

Hmmm - at the risk of sounding racist... is there no way we can filter the Yanks out so we don't have to put up with these slurs on the comics adored by 1000s of children in the UK ;)

(PS - every American I have become friends with is lovely... well their my friends... it's obvious!)

At the risk of sounding species-ist that's not strictly true Bovine King - I am at my home now and it's not hte same IP address as yours... yes I do spend a lot of time on your PC though... :S (it's a good job Mak has two!)

The report from Wales (Ed Van Halen) is that a pack is not included in this weeks issue!

Can anyone confirm or deny this rumour  ;)

My missus checked it out and nothing on the weekly ..

There are 2 Beano's that are issued .. a weekly and a glossy monthly,, ( I am going by what the wife said, so open for error here ) ..

the glossy Beano did have 2 packs of Euro 2004 stickers attachec,, I am getting to think it will be the monthly issue ..

If anybody knows any different please post
