Hi All,

Im a bit new to the game, but have just managed to pick up 4 boxes for around £40 quid each. (yes they are definitely Artbox ones)

So, Im quite keen to open them, but Im also a student and short of cash. DO you guys think I should

A) Keep all 4 closed
B) Open 2 And sell 2 (ebay selling them at £90 atm)
C) Open all 4
D) Some other suggestion

Should I also be thinking about buying any more boxes from my source? (I actually feel like i am ripping them off a little. I feel guilty, not that that would stop me)

Also I was wondering, where do people buy their cases from? I can't seem to find any suppliers to pick them up from.

Any advice from you hardcore collector nuts would be most appreciated

They are definitely artbox? And Definitely say "8 cards per pack, look for randomly inserted cgase, costume and autographs" on the top?

First off you should buy some more and sell them to me for £50 a box.

Then of the 4 you originally have you should open at least one so you can have a base set and enjoy the fun of seeing what you find... then sell one box (to pay for the 4 you bought) then stick the 2 remining boxes somwhere and forget about them until the movie of the Goblet of Fire comes out.

Then use the money to buy a nice new house!

:D

You said they are definetly artbox ones, but are they definetly "hobby" boxes from artbox, because that is where the big difference is?  The hobby have all the chase cards (props, autos, costumes)  the retail just have 9 foil chase cards and go fairly cheap on ebay.  If they are hobby, I would say if you are strong enough to open 3 and keep 1 sealed to help pay for the other three that would be great.  Depends on what your 1st 3 boxes yield.  If you get a great 1st box, I would stop there, as there seem to be quite a few dud boxes out there as well.

What were the numbers for the case runs?  I can't seem to find any real info about how many case were made up.

Report seem to suggest anything from 50 to 500 hobby cases, and I have no idea about the retail cases.

Anyone able to help out?

Is it likely to have been a smaller number than the hobby boxes?
