: New here, just getting into Potter cards : Mark August 10, 2005, 12:20:38 AM Hello,
I'm a long time collector of sports cards, (mainly baseball), however, I just recently started looking at the non-sports cards. I have a couple of single boxes of Potter POA Update cards incoming, and a sealed 10 box case. I'm still trying to decide whether to open the case, or sit on it for a while. What do you "Potter Pros" think :D ? I'll open the 2 single boxes, but really don't know if the case would be a good break. Please LMK what you think. Thanks, ~ Mark : Re: New here, just getting into Potter cards : Tower August 10, 2005, 12:55:57 AM Hi Mark, welcome here! :)
I would open it, i can't believe that the value of these Update cases goes ever up. ::) : Re: New here, just getting into Potter cards : rns91294 August 10, 2005, 12:57:19 AM Welcome!! I would open it too. What if there is a triple auto in it :o
: Re: New here, just getting into Potter cards : Anna August 10, 2005, 01:32:15 AM I would open the boxes too. ;D And welcome to the Shack Mark! ;D
: Re: New here, just getting into Potter cards : Sharon August 10, 2005, 01:37:53 AM Mark one thing you should bear in mind when considering whether to open the case is that everyone on here is a compulsive pack opener ;D. The thought of an unopened case is more than we can stand

I was kind of hoping that I would get advice that the case should be busted :D. I've bought sportscard cases in the past, (as an investment), only to "fold under the pressure" and open them "just to see" ;D I'll be sure and report back here with my pulls from all 12 boxes. ~ Nail : Re: New here, just getting into Potter cards : grecopa August 10, 2005, 06:40:59 AM Yes, when you pull a triple auto, please come back to gloat! ;D
