The credit goes to Mike.  He found the site and posted in a different thread, but I thought more people would see it here. :)

Actually, the credit goes to Mugglenet.com, I just thought I'd post it since some Yaks wanted to know what some of the stuff looked like 8)

Can you imagin all the varient with Harrys Robe :o I'm so ready for October

If they use variants.  Never did see them for Harry's robe in the PoA Update set.......

You are talking about the Quidditch robe, right?

: Re: GOF costume and prop pictures
: EmmasOneandOnly August 02, 2005, 03:20:02 AM
This is different. There only about a dozen places where its impossible not to cut out a varient. There is only two places on the Quidditch Robes in POA where you can get a varient and I think they plan out what things they will make varients out of and on some things its impossible to not make a card without one

I dont think it is a Quidditch Robe. I mailed Artbox asking about this

: Re: GOF costume and prop pictures
: kbmum August 02, 2005, 03:21:54 AM
I don't think it's a Quidditch robe, either, since the school matches were cancelled due to the Triward Tournament.  I think it's Harry's tournament robe.

: Re: GOF costume and prop pictures
: EmmasOneandOnly August 02, 2005, 05:38:39 AM
I like Harry's Third Task costume as well. Its simple and I love the mix of Red and Black (picture of Harry in the grave yard). By the way, does anybody have the Spetember issue of Disney Adventure Magazine. Theres a picture of the Weasleys Quidditch World Cup tent in it. Very cool 8)

: Re: GOF costume and prop pictures
: grecopa August 02, 2005, 05:45:19 AM
Does anyone know what the skull prop is?  I can't remember.  And what is that in the box next to it?  Also, the Quidditch trophy says class of 1984.  That's the year before I graduated high school!

Well, no new pictures or Emma >:( LOL. I just glad we got a good picture of the Hufflepuff robe because now I can show it to the women I'm getting mine from ;D.

Viktor is about 19

Ah yes, I do quite like the look of Viktor Krum - no wonder Hermione went to the Yule Ball with him ;)

Is he 19 then? Perfectly fine for me then

With the three boys standing together (1st pic), Cedric and Victor make Harry look very scrawny  :P....

Is that a knife they have strapped to their legs  ???

: Re: GOF costume and prop pictures
: EmmasOneandOnly August 02, 2005, 12:29:25 PM
Daniel Radcliffe is 14 and 15 in this movie and Cedric and Viktor are 17 and 18 so thats a big difference.

No, thats their wands

: Re: GOF costume and prop pictures
: blackcat20 August 02, 2005, 12:34:48 PM
yeah i know there is a big age diff, its just funny that such a small guy (in comparison) is much "tougher" than the larger guys...

funny i never thought of their wands  ::) im having one of those absent-minded days...

: Re: GOF costume and prop pictures
: EmmasOneandOnly August 02, 2005, 12:36:35 PM
I hate being small. I've been as tall as my mom since I was twelve ::)

I thought the same thing when I saw the trailer for the COS sneek peak.

Can you imagin all the varient with Harrys Robe :o I'm so ready for October

There's one on ebay now in Tom's master set

It's not the crest but it's definitely something a bit different - some random eyelet thing.

I just LOVE the Weasley's tent and I can't wait to see some of the other tents because compared to everyone else's the Weasley's were supposed to be a bit of a wreck :)

Don't apologise about the size of the pics, they are phenomenal :) and people on 56 k will be glad to wait and see them ;)

He hee - on the set for the second task - if someone had told Dan they were doing this he'd have worked out huh  ;)? Cedric looks much better in that picture than he did in a robe, much less geeky and much more TriWizard contender ;)

lol although it shows Harry up to be (at first sight) the weakest contender... but we know he passes over all those odds ;)

: Re: GOF costume and prop pictures
: EmmasOneandOnly August 03, 2005, 12:19:52 AM
Well, now we know of ONE vareint for Harry

I love the pictures. Every one of them are saved onto my computer 8)

: Re: GOF costume and prop pictures
: rns91294 August 03, 2005, 01:41:28 AM
Actually, I saw that variant before...unless it is another one like it.  I just forgot all about it.  And I have only seen three dual variants with part of Cedrics Hufflepuff badge.  Anna owns one, I own one, and someone bought one on eBay for a lot of money.  But I have seen Cedric have variants with the brown lettering of his name and/or number, but none of Harry's have popped up like that.  They also had them from George in PoA.  Interesting......

The pictures are great!!!!!

: Re: GOF costume and prop pictures
: Nienna August 03, 2005, 02:58:08 AM
I LOVE the pics Mike - thanks!! ;D
Where did you get them from ... the Disney mag you mentioned or an online site ... I wanted to know so I could show them to the rest of the family (big HP fans all of us! LOL) ;D
I'm sure the robe thing we see Harry wearing is for the Tri-wizard tournament rather than new quiddtich gear and I don't think he looks too weedy next to the others.  ::)
I thought the wand sheath strapped to the lower leg was a nice touch - I'd been wondering where they stowed them for the underwater task!
As for the Weasley tent ... that's magnificent ... a very urban late-60's look too it and I've seen plenty of horrible furniture like that in secondhand shops round and about over here. That kind of stuff tends to be used in student or other rented accommodation because it was mostly well-made compared to much of the recent stuff and it's cheap ... I won't say cheerful as it's probably very dusty and musty-smelling! :P

It's nice to get close-ups of the Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff robes too - about time! ;)

Ohhhh I noticed Tom's auction last night - wonderful quidditch variant and pretty rare too ... I'd forgotten both you and Anna owned one of this type. ;)

The first five pictures (the tent, Cho, Viktor Cedric, and Harry) all come from the disney adventrue magazine that has another picture of Harry in the owlery and in the graveyard and features and interview with Daniel Radcliffe.

The ones I posted last night are posted on The Leaky Cauldron.net and Mugglenet.com

I just watched the new VTM On Air from Veritaserum.com and I'm guessing the WB didnt want us to see the backgorund on the Seocond Task because in the video Weritaserum has a complete picture with a full backgrounf. You only get a few seconds of it so nothing big so I guess theres a spoiler there somewhere or soemthing. I can find a full picture so it may be fake or something. Whatever it is or how, I dont know

A snippet of news re: Cho Chang from the celebrity pages of the online Hello ezine ... it was accompanied by the photo you've already posted of Cho ... the one of her holding the tiny wee owl ..

3 AUGUST 2005

After several years of hard work at Hogwart's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Harry Potter's conjuring skills are in pretty good shape. It would appear the young magician still isn't immune to Cupid's powers, though, as he's about to fall under the spell of a pretty schoolgirl from Scotland.

Seventeen-year-old Katie Leung, who originally hails from Motherwell, near Glasgow, plays the irresistible new student Cho Chang in Harry's latest adventure. And the sixth-former looks set to make quite an impression with her big screen debut, as she will be the first actress to share a kiss with the boy wizard.

"My dad was watching television one day and he saw an ad for my character," she revealed. "It was weird because it fitted me perfectly. It said you have to be 16, you have to have long dark hair and you have to be Asian."

Katie beat off competition from 4,000 other contenders to land her role in Harry Potter And The Goble Of Fire, but the young performer still felt a little nervy when she first met her co-stars Emily Watson, Rupert Grint and, of course, Daniel Radcliffe. "That was really intimidating - it was like 'Oh my God, I'm around all these great actors'," she explained. "But it was really cool afterwards and we spoke and got to know each other."

Appearing in the flick also means she'll be sharing the screen with some of the industry's most revered talents. Acclaimed thesp Ralph Fiennes will be strutting his stuff as Harry's nemesis Lord Voldemort, while Michael Gambon, Gary Oldman, Miranda Richardson and Maggie Smith are all reprising their roles from previous films.

;D

All four champions - thats all I want! Now THAT would be a quartet I would want to get :D

: Re: GOF costume and prop pictures
: EmmasOneandOnly August 05, 2005, 09:40:52 PM
Thats would be a nice auto card but how rare would it be :o

: Re: GOF costume and prop pictures
: LikORish-Spider August 05, 2005, 10:42:48 PM
Thats would be a nice auto card but how rare would it be :o

If it  were Topps they would probably make it 100 limit at $500.00 and stick it in their e-thiinga-majig. Wouldn't that be great?

: Re: GOF costume and prop pictures
: darthmactor August 05, 2005, 10:49:57 PM
Well the idea of a quad card does appeal to me, I think it would be more realistic, and possibly more fun, to have, for the champions, dual signed cards of the champion and their school headmaster/mistress. Of course, I also think it would be cool to have dual signed yule ball couples cards, so what do I know?  >:D

: Re: GOF costume and prop pictures
: EmmasOneandOnly August 05, 2005, 11:14:13 PM
I'd love to see a harry/cedric/Dumbledore card :o

: Re: GOF costume and prop pictures
: rns91294 August 06, 2005, 02:04:44 AM
I wuold even like to see a quad costume card frmo all 4 champs.

: Re: GOF costume and prop pictures
: kbmum August 06, 2005, 02:17:06 AM
That would be nice, but the swatches would be awfully small. :-\  I wonder if we'll see some Voldemort and Death Eater costumes?

: Re: GOF costume and prop pictures
: rns91294 August 06, 2005, 03:11:26 AM
They would be small swatches, and I know it would be hard to do, but a neat though anyway.

Voldemort would be cool.  And of course, a dragon scale, which I know has been brought up in the past.  My luck, it will be the case incentive.

Now, we saw wands in the pictures, so does that mean this set will have wands too?

Trying to decide if I should go for a SS wand, or wait for this set first now.

: Re: GOF costume and prop pictures
: EmmasOneandOnly August 06, 2005, 03:14:58 AM
I'e got to get a wand from SS. The only incentive I can afford . I'm more interested in the Emma card. I want to see her dress. He very pretty pink dress. I want to see and Emma auto to but there I got wishing again :o= What about the champions swim suits for the second task? that would be nice. And I'd love to see FINALLY a McGonagall auto and costume card. Prop cards....hmm...the Golden egg of course but I really want to see some tents from the QWC

: Re: GOF costume and prop pictures
: rns91294 August 06, 2005, 03:32:49 AM
Oh Mike, I like the tent idea!!!!

I also want a Snape auto.  I always have.

: Re: GOF costume and prop pictures

I'd like to see some of the fabric and stuff from the Weasley tent

Time-Turner only goes back in time doesnt it :-\

: Re: GOF costume and prop pictures

I was just reading my True Life: Movie Magic magazine and they said in a article titled Harry Potter and the Cutting Room Floor that:
Some Hermione Scenes Where Cut Becasuse The Film Need to Focus more on Harry. Do you think they'll try to pack all the scenes onto the DVD?

: Re: GOF costume and prop pictures
: ferdinand_the_yak August 06, 2005, 03:06:31 PM
No, I want single cards of the champions, not a quad card - I have seen the sports cards with 4 autos and I am not a fan.

I read somewhere that a new trailer was shown at Comic Con.  Maybe someone who attended can fill us in?

: Re: GOF costume and prop pictures
: Bryanjs14 August 13, 2005, 01:04:04 AM
They did show a trailer for it at Comic-con and it was quite a trailer indeed. Although some parts were still unfinished (like a part where something is flying into Hogwarts over Hagrid and all we see are some grey polygons) but it did show some really cool stuff. Among the biggest things in the trailer was a good 5-6 second look at 'Mad Eye' Moody who when was show, received claps during the middle of the trailer. As I have confessed in other posts, I have actually NEVER read ANY of the Potter books. I always loved the movies...and I know reading the books will ruin the movie for me. So picking out the stuff in the Con trailer was kind of hard. The trailer also showed quite a few new charecters along with new Quidditch teams and a good chunk of quidditch footage. Along with that there was Hermione looking beautiful, Ron in a silly costume, and a very beat up Harry in some sort of arena with a Dragon. I am told Voldermort WILL be in this movie and played by Ralph Fiennes (who is a GREAT actor) however, I do not believe he was shown in the trailer (although I read somewhere that for a SPLIT second they showed him)

Again, sorry I cannot go into detail....it has been a couple weeks and also I did not know what big Potter fans would be looking for since I have not read Goblet....but as a fan of the movies, this one looks like it could EASILY be the best so far.

: Re: GOF costume and prop pictures

There are so many fun and exciting things in this one, that the movie could very well be one of the best.  That is, if it is not cut to pieces leaving half the book out.

: Re: GOF costume and prop pictures
: Bryanjs14 August 13, 2005, 04:50:13 AM
I was just in a theater seeing Skeleton Key (don't waste your time or money) and in the theater lobby they were playing the new (and now rendered and finished) trailer I saw at the con. A couple other things that may or may not be of interest. There is a LARGE LARGE maze show in the trailer along with Harry underwater and an actually kinda scary looking mermaid type of monster.

Just thought some would like to know

: Re: GOF costume and prop pictures

I wonder if the Cutter realize that they are reducing the interest of the true fans by shortening the run time? It also reduces revenue for lack of more than one timers... that is people who would like to see it more than once. I hav been kind of disappointed in the dvelopment of the plots and the side plots are almost all missing in the movies so far. If I had not read the books .....

YAY!! Great stuff Mike! ;D
I can't recall whether someone else previously posted pics of the cards on the Forum or not, but if they haven't would you mind letting us see them please Mike? :D
Unfortunately, I think that's probably the closest most of us here in the UK will ever get to them ... :-\

I just wanted to bump this thread up to the front again.  Here's a link to some great photos of some of the props/costumes that we have seen in this set so far.  I wonder if the dragon bag will have any crest varients?  Thanks to Mike for the original link to the photos.  :)

I think we will see some dragon bag prop variants, but now knowing what the amount made of this prop is, I think they will be arther pricey.
