: Mothers in other countries : sketchqueen July 26, 2005, 11:49:38 PM I need *help!* -- advice really. Here in the States, there is a bitter, and on-going battle it seems between Stay at Home Moms and Working Moms. I've been both really, and while I enjoy my job, I enjoy my kids a lot more :)
I've been battling within myself - do I quit and stay home now when my kids need me, or stay working so that I can afford things for them - camps, sports, Harry Potter books (JUST KIDDING), etc. I see sadness in my older son's face - by the time we get home, all the stress of the day is on us and the littlest thing he does sets us off. And the baby is biting everyone within reach at daycare :) He's my little >:D And I'm not sure that working is what I'm supposed to be doing - I have a lot of extra-cirricular activities that I'm involved with (my son's school, our resident's association, our church, etc.) *sigh* Please tell me that in other places around the world, other mothers struggle daily with these things? Lie to me, but help me feel better, cause today I surely feel like dirt ... : Re: Mothers in other countries : grecopa July 27, 2005, 01:02:36 AM PM sent.
