: Fantastic 4 : EmmasOneandOnly June 19, 2005, 03:10:41 AM Is there going to be a Fantastic 4 Trading Card Set? If so could I have a link. Thanks,
Mike 8) : Re: Fantastic 4 : canny19 June 19, 2005, 04:00:04 AM Yes, there is a set. It has already been released.
Although, there are lots of variations of costumes, and not chase sets. Enjoy -- Chris :D : Re: Fantastic 4 : EmmasOneandOnly June 19, 2005, 04:00:56 AM Thanks
: Re: Fantastic 4 : Roz June 19, 2005, 03:52:31 PM Yeah but I haven't been able to find you a good link - they are as bad as Artbox ;) maybe if you ask Sketqueen nicely she'll post a few pics of the cards she has
: Re: Fantastic 4 : ferdinand_the_yak June 19, 2005, 04:12:21 PM I had a peek at some on Ebay - the costumes are the only chase cards (ode to a Ioan Gruffudd auto card :'( ). Not too much variation so far... 2 words
"Flight suit" ;) They have heaps of versions of each character... Ms Alba (whose cards are predictably going for big money) has 3 variations of her flight suit! ;D Invisible Woman (Jessica Alba) flight suit version 1 (/299). Looks like the rare one! The other rare one also /299 is a Thing one, but I couldn't find one... It would be cool if it was open in the centre of the 4 - which it looks like it is on some of them but then again not on others... maybe Joanna might fill us in - has anyone else gone for these? The film's not out here yet.
: Re: Fantastic 4 : EmmasOneandOnly June 19, 2005, 07:01:46 PM There really cool I just wish there were more then just these few costumes.
: Re: Fantastic 4 : ferdinand_the_yak June 19, 2005, 07:03:28 PM Oh there are heaps more other cards Mike... I just put a few on cos there were so many!
Have a squiz on Ebay, they have a few on there! : Re: Fantastic 4 : saruman June 19, 2005, 07:26:51 PM how comes some of the cards give the actors name and some don't does this mean that only the ones with the actors name were actually worn by them
: Re: Fantastic 4 : ferdinand_the_yak June 19, 2005, 07:58:58 PM No idea... but then again, I don't understand why they needed so many replications of the one costume... it stinks of the idiocy of the PoA Harry black cloaks /100, /500 and /750 again :P It sucks - its most likely the same cloak, but the prices are astronomically different for what is basically diferrent pictures on the card >:D

Oh, ok. Will do : Re: Fantastic 4 : Geek Boy June 21, 2005, 04:05:13 AM I think this set is really dull especially in comparison to Batman Begins. No autos and the costume cards are as lame as the first X-Men costume cards. Plus the fact, nobody has seen the film yet so if it's a dud, the price of these cards will plummet. Wouldn't want to be in a position where I'd spent loads on the more rare examples and then see them drop in the value because the film's a stinker. That said, the trailer looks excellent but they always put the best bits in the trailers to drum up interest.

Nope - it's solid to my recollection. I think the die-cut looks cool, so I'm not terribly bothered by it, but in general I do like to touch the cards :) |
