: Gold Circle Around Swatch

I asked Artbox last week why there was no gold circle around the practice broom. I got this:

Hello,

Thank you for your inquiries.
The gold frame is not printed on the broom, coins, and the wand props due to a production procedure called a cutting tolerance.

Good work, Mike.

But the answer is BALONEY!
They better get that production problem resolved. It cheapens the appearance of the cards.

Everyone is entitiled to their opinion, but his answer is sound and reasonable - not baloney.

Whatever that means... ::)

I agree - it does take off from the appearance of those cards a bit!

The wand box and coins are fine because your really not looking for a circle anyways. Plus the wand has a box instead of a swatch so it doesnt really need one. I just asked because I thought it might be a printing error.

Hey, Sketchqueen.  What does cutting tolerance mean?
