Hey guys.

I was playing around for ebay trying to take some pics of my best film cells and after a few tries I think I got some good pics:

What do you think? Why not share your film cell pics here too?

I'll put mine up when I get the chance.  The 3rd one would be great on the card with the same Harry/wand scene.

Definitely... I remember last time - Cindy tried to match them up like that - and she often came across perfect cells on the WRONG cards  >:()

The top one is of Diagon Alley of course and that sign to the top left says "Daily Prophet" - it's clear in person I assure you ;)

Oh, now I see! 8)  That's a good one for the card it's on.  I have a cell that I'm not too sure of what it is.  I think it's inside Ollivander's shop, but i'll let everyone decide when I get my photos up later on.

That has turned into a most difficult project.  Update came out in November, and I still have only five of the nine cards with cells that match the picture or scene on the front of the card.  But, I haven't given up hope I'll complete the set exactly the way I want. :)

Since there are only 397 of each SS filmcard (there were 900 of each for update), I won't be attempting a complete set like that.  I honestly don't know if it would be possible. :-\  Not that I won't try to get cells that match the cards... ;)

Hey Roz, my cells kinda goes with your top one.  Mine is about 24 min. 47 sec. into the movie; when Hagrid's saying "A Wand?!?"  While he and Harry are walking down Diagon Alley.

Ooh that's a very cool Hagrid themed one with Hagrid pulling the Christmas Tree on it too - watch McGongal doesn't sneak into your home in the middle of the night to steal that one ;)

Nice Filmcards. If you dont mind me asking are these film cells taken straight from the original movie reel or just a random one?  ???

In case anyone wonders how I took the pic....i held the card under direct sunlight, then took the picture without the flash.  Came out much better than the other film cell pics i took before; where i held the cards in front of the monitor.

Yours will be there soon, and I think you will be pleasantly surprised.  It would get there much quicker if you move to california.

I'll retake to photo later with your idea. Its 12:00 at night so the moniter was the only thing I had. I've notice the pictures from my camera come out better with more light anyways so it should look alot better.

I remember seeing an auction for one in the POAU set.  It was Ernie Prang driving the Knight bus, then another scene I can't remember.  They are pretty scarce.

I have a film cell with fire on it.  Does anyone have an idea where that scene might have come from?  I'm STILL trying to get photos up on this thread.  As soon as my mother gives me my camera back I'll get to post some. >:()

The fire might be from the finale.. isn't Harry surrounded by fire when he fights Quirrell/Voldemort?
