: Re: Be careful, again the seller with wrong pictures : Morningangel-Iola May 28, 2005, 03:53:28 AM No I had a dodgey one with POA lucky I ended up with the one in the picture but if it hadn't been brought to my attention goodness knows what I would have ended up with. They should tell you if it is or isn't the one in the picture >:()
: Re: Be careful, again the seller with wrong pictures : EmmasOneandOnly May 28, 2005, 06:07:25 AM I'm not seeing the problem. Both auctions posted are of the same auction :-\
: Re: Be careful, again the seller with wrong pictures : Morningangel-Iola May 28, 2005, 06:09:43 AM They are different auction numbers
: Re: Be careful, again the seller with wrong pictures : Tower May 28, 2005, 06:16:53 AM You should read the story before:

Do you think s/he did it buy accident or so if somone buys one and not the other s/he still sells it ???
: Re: Be careful, again the seller with wrong pictures : Trey May 28, 2005, 07:17:32 AM Man this seller irritates me completely cause I was one of the people who got stung with his deception for the fizzing whizbees cards. I mean the card i got was still nice, that is why i kept it, but i wouldnt have paid that much if i had of known that it was a plain swatch, i thought it was a colourful one.
This is definately deceptive and i really want to complain to ebay about it. Do you think they would listen though if I put in a complaint and put in the links to those two auctions. Do you think they will even bother?? ::) : Re: Be careful, again the seller with wrong pictures : grecopa May 28, 2005, 07:22:34 AM Maybe you should tell the seller he has 2 of the same pictures up and see if he changes one.
: Re: Be careful, again the seller with wrong pictures : kbmum May 28, 2005, 07:26:57 AM I think it's worth a shot, especially after what happened to you with the seller.
: Re: Be careful, again the seller with wrong pictures : Anna May 28, 2005, 07:27:53 AM Maybe you should tell the seller he has 2 of the same pictures up and see if he changes one. I already sent an e-mail to the seller, but he hasn't responded yet. I'll post his response if I ever get one. :-\ : Re: Be careful, again the seller with wrong pictures : Trey May 28, 2005, 07:56:18 AM He wont respond in a hurry but I will wait and see what he says to Anna, then I will try with ebay to make a complaint and see how it goes.. >:(
: Re: Be careful, again the seller with wrong pictures : Anna May 28, 2005, 06:22:37 PM Well both auctions have now ended and I never received a response from the seller. I think one of the buyers is going to be very unhappy with their purchase. :-\
: Re: Be careful, again the seller with wrong pictures : beckham1 May 28, 2005, 09:10:06 PM I think you should certainly send an email to ebay. I think if you want to get technical this could constitute ebay fraud. If the seller doesn't state that the card pictured may not be the one you get then I think it would be fraud. It really irritates me when sellers do this, because they are fully aware of what they are trying to pull. When have you ever seen a crappy swatch pictured? They always put the best one they can find.
: Re: Be careful, again the seller with wrong pictures : grecopa May 29, 2005, 12:10:30 AM That's horrible. We all know better now that it's happened, but what if it's someone's Mother or some other family member buying the card as a gift? They just get taken. And it's not like these things are cheap! >:()
: Re: Be careful, again the seller with wrong pictures : ronov May 29, 2005, 06:40:40 PM Don't think that there is any question about this being fraud or not.
The seller shows the picture and the text: "THIS IS A MINT HARRY POTTER AND THE SORCERER'S STONE PROP CARD WIZARD 386/538" In his other auction he did the same with a other card number. So one of them isn't the card in the picture ... meaning fraud... plain and simple... : Re: Be careful, again the seller with wrong pictures : Tower May 29, 2005, 07:57:34 PM So one of them isn't the card in the picture ... meaning fraud... plain and simple... Probably both of them, if it's the same as last time. :-\ |
