...I just sent an ebay item to a buyer, and accidently sent it to their next door neighbour  :o whoops! Anyone think that is worth getting left negative feedback for?

Ive sold to this person before, but hadnt kept a record of their email address, and it didnt come in the ebay item sold email, so I used the white pages which gave me #7 of the street I sent to last time, but turns out they live at #5....Ive sent them an apology, so hopefully that works out ok.... :-[

Ooops... I hope they get on with their neighbours :-\

I think it should be OK, these things happen, and as long as the parcel has the correct addressee's name on it, I am sure the parcel will find its way to the right owner. They shouldn't leave you a neg if they get the parcel :)

Yeah my postie has brought me things with the wrong house number on but with the right name on - straight away :) I shouldn't fret!

The thing is, Im 99% positive that 7 is the number i sent to last time, as the addy came in the email, but this time it didnt...Ive sent them an email to let them know, and to say sorry, so it should be ok....

I get my neighbours mail quite often; its a good chance to catch up  ;D

:) I have a friend who just moved out of her parents house - to move in with her boyfriend next door ;) perhaps it's a similar situation with your ebay buyer :D that she's just moved next door!

Possible, maybe she lives next door to her husband...she uses his ebay id...

normally the postman knows the names and brings in the letter to the right person.

got an email from the buyer yesterday, it arrived safely, she was very please, and left me positive feedback. Thats a story with a happy ending  ;D
