: Pricing Analysis of Big 4 Autos
: garage June 08, 2004, 04:00:00 PM
Guys,

I thought it might be an interesting reference point to gain a snap shot of the current prices of the key autos. The prices below are from the 25th of May, and those in pounds have been converted to USD at a rate of 1.83. Given the different descriptions people use some of the sales may have been missed.

Looks like there are still some good buys out there :D

                                   Max      Min       Median    Avg    Number
Granger                        466      260         352       359        11
Sirius                            228       99         145       151        12
Dumbledore                    129      91        103       108        11
Lupin                             103      64          86         85         11

That's really great work Garage,

I am hoping Mark will code a page on this site where you can feed that info in each time an auction ends and it will collate it so we can see how the prices change over time, max min etc.

What do you think?

Why didn't I pick up that Sirius for $99? Or Dumbledore for $91? Grrr... I actually remember when I originally posted on Topps re the costume cards, someone was selling hobby boxes for $59!!!! I wasn't sure about Artbox, and had no info on the release... thats why I didn't bite. Oh the agony! I wish I had Hermione's Time Turner handy.... then I'd go back and pick up a few cases of FOTR hobby and retail as well as those HP hobby cases  ;D

Roz,

That would be awesome if the information could be automated! I think it would be really interesting to easily see where the auto prices go, as given the box prices they look pretty undervalued.
