: Autograph Redemptions : DewDude April 26, 2005, 05:47:38 AM I finally sent in my 3 autograph redemption cards last Monday (Gardner, Ferris, and Griffiths). To my suprise, the redeemed autos were in my mailbox today. That's a one week turn around! Pretty speedy!
So what is the deal with the numbers on the accompanying letters I've heard people report on? Are they in the upper right after the date and are they supposed to be the total number of autos redeemed to date? Mark : Re:Autograph Redemptions : kbmum April 26, 2005, 09:04:46 AM That was fast. They must have worked through the backlog, because it took nearly three weeks to get mine last month.
: Re:Autograph Redemptions : Anna April 26, 2005, 09:39:39 AM I guess it's finally time to send mine in. ;D

Are they in the upper right after the date and are they supposed to be the total number of autos redeemed to date? Yes that's right! My Ferris is number 2 :o : Re:Autograph Redemptions : Rabb April 26, 2005, 07:24:34 PM :DOhh,I never knew that about the numbers!.I got a Jimmy Gardner redeemed recently by Artbox,took just over two weeks in total to send it from UK to US and get it back again,I was very impressed with their speed. ;D
Mine was number 120 though,just checked,that's a lot of Prang autos being redeemed!. : Re:Autograph Redemptions : DewDude April 26, 2005, 09:59:54 PM Here are my numbers. I figured by this time they would be higher.
Griffiths: 105 Gardner: 136 Ferris: 69 Mark : Re:Autograph Redemptions : Roz April 26, 2005, 10:01:34 PM Very interesting thanks Mark :D It's always good to have an idea of how many are out there.
You are right - that figure is astonishingly low - but then again we have grown to believe these autos are common as they are worth £10-20 - yet they really aren't - 2 autos in every £400 case is not really common :P : Re:Autograph Redemptions : grecopa April 26, 2005, 11:24:25 PM My Jimmy Gardner is 127. It took about a week and a half. I'm still waiting for the exchange for my damaged Unfogging the Future prop that was mailed on the same day. It was jammed in the same pack as the Gardner redemp. It's been about 3 weeks. Does anyone know if they really take up to 4-6 weeks to return?
: Re:Autograph Redemptions : kbmum April 26, 2005, 11:32:15 PM For me, it's always taken 3-4 weeks. Since the prop wasn't mailed with the auto, you might want to send an email to Artbox asking about it. They'll let you know if it's in the queue.
Not to worry you, but I mailed a damaged card to them, and after a month went by without receiving the replacement, I emailed them. They never got the package and it was never returned to me. The post office was no help, either. Now I never send in a damaged card or redemption without insurance and a tracking number. :-\ : Re:Autograph Redemptions : grecopa April 27, 2005, 12:55:32 AM I sent it insured with a tracking number, so I know they got it. I'll email them as you suggested. Thanks!
: Re:Autograph Redemptions : Tower April 27, 2005, 02:01:32 AM My Pam Ferris seems to be number 56. ::)
: Re:Autograph Redemptions : LikORish-Spider April 27, 2005, 03:23:54 AM Are all of the signed auto cards a result of redemptions or were some sighed cards actually put into packs?
The reason I ask is if they are all due to redemptions then would it be safe to assume they will all have a number? : Re:Autograph Redemptions : Roz April 27, 2005, 03:26:45 AM No all the signed cards have been obtained through redemption - definitely none in packs.

I emailed Artbox today and they replied within 2 hours! My card was shipped on the 21st, so I should get it in a day or two. :) Thier website stinks, but their customer service is outstanding. ;D: Re:Autograph Redemptions : zero April 27, 2005, 04:16:04 AM I have a Griffiths redemption, but I'm waiting until closer to the deadline to redeem it. That way I'll have better outlook to as how many are truly out there!
: Re:Autograph Redemptions : Rabb April 27, 2005, 04:27:21 AM Does anyone know if Artbox redeem autograph cards after their expiry date?.The reason I ask is that I know Inkworks are happy to redeem cards for as long as they have them-I phoned them to ask about redeeming a Brendan Fraser auto card recently that I'd just pulled but had expired in 2001-they said no problem send it in,I did and got my card back from them within a couple of weeks!.So perhaps Artbox will also be so generous?.
