First press the image button (4th pic in from the left in the bottom row of the Add YABBC tags).

What that does is give you this [ img]http://your URL here[/ img] in html (basic codes used for websites) that means [ img]http://(an image follows) and then[ /img] (end image) so what you need to do is press the image button and it automatically adds () to your post - just split it up with the link and hey presto :)

You need to upload your images to a photo hosting site, because the Shack can't host photos.  I use Photobucket (it's free), but there are others, like Yahoo!Photos.  Once your account is set up and the images uploaded, then you can copy the IMG tagline into your post and the picture will appear. :)

Help Please  :o=

I have done something in Serif to post on the Shack but I am having no luck uploading it to my photobucket.  I have tried saving the file as .jpg.  Any other ideas?

Thank you to anyone who was having a think about this for me but my brother in law has told me how to do it.  Have a look at the San Diego Convention thread if you want to have a peak at what it was lol.

Hello,

I managed to post an image from my photobucket account, however on photobucket it was a moving image .
Once I posted it, the image was no longer moving. If anyone can explain how to get the moving image to work, I would appreciate.
Also, I'm not very good with computers or technology, so feel free to explain as though you were telling Crabbe or Goyle  ::).
Thanks
