This has probably been discussed before, but how many variant cedric costumes have popped up?  I pulled one the other night and I had never seen one before.  I had seen the variant dual, but this one is cedrics alone, it is mostly black with a little yellow, looks pretty cool after looking at so many plain yellow versions, its almost a whole different looking card.

I've never seen one, and the Price Guide doesn't have any variants listed.  I think you may have the first one Zach.  Congratulations! ;D

Its a totally different material, almost a rubbury material then the stitching attaching it to the yellow, much better looking than plain yellow :)

So are you going to sell it, or keep it for your master collection?

I'd keep it - you'd never get a similar one if you decided to change your mind!

I hope I get SOMETHING varient. A Hufflepuff varient would be cool.

It will stay in my master collection for now, but that will probably end up on ebay in a month or two.  I usually only keep a select few that I really like (usually autographs) and I will keep a set of the filmcards with all my favorite film cells, I just pulled a really cool film shot of a closeup of ron as he is roaring like a lion with his cool hat on in there bedroom.  But when they do end up on ebay I will be sure to let everyone know.  :)

I thought it was you Anna who sent me links to the Cedrics with black, but I must be mistaken (was it Cindy?? - it's definitely been discussed in a thread here) there were a couple at least on ebay with VERY high starting prices, such as $300 - I don't think they sold though but if you start low as you normally do Zach you could get a very nice price when the time comes   ;D

There was a variant Cedric robe in the eBay stores section.  The BIN was $399.  I can't find it now, so either it sold or the seller let the auction expire and hasn't relisted it.  I could have sworn I posted the link in one of the threads here.

Now that you posted the link, I remember this swatch.  I believe in the thread where it was posted, that I commented that the price was too high for it. ::)

The seller has had the card for many months.  I'm surprised he/she hasn't come down in price yet. ::)

All I ever remember eating in Greece was huge bowls of salad dripped in the most delicious dressing and topped with FETA cheese... but I was there a good while so I can't have JUST eaten that :P ;)

Otherwise you would be twice the woman you are now ;)

I have been told that people that go over there for extended periods of time come back some sizes larger as a result... myself I am looking forward to it!

Of course I'd say some of the best things about Greece are the blindingly light beaches and sunshine, but that's just "homely" to you, as are temperatures that make ice creams melt the minute after you have bought them :D

And wear PLENTY of sun block at classical sites, you get so absorbed with trying to re-create the towns/ theatres and stadiums in your mind that you don't notice the quiet bubbling noise that reminds you of a kettle but is in fact YOU FRYING ;) ;D

Yes - I shall take your advice re. sunscreen! And if I manage to hop across to the UK please remind me to take several photos of thermometers in the UK - in Aus we can't believe that it is really that cold all year around ;)

You'd be hard pressed to see temperatures in Sydney drop below 12-15 Celsius at the coldest of times - we're in the middle od autumn now and its averaging about 25 C ;)

Thanks Roz, the white speck on the black swatch is from the scanner, I think it looks better than all yellow, but after looking at a ton of all yellow cards anything would look better.  :)
