: New and pretty cool idea from Topps Europe : Roz March 22, 2005, 08:25:09 PM I was in MNV today buying the Comic Relief Single (Peter Kay singing - is this the way to Amarillo) - yes I was put up to it :P (and a single called "Foolish" by Tyler James) and when I get to the counter they have a box of trading card style packets with pirate ships next to them.
They seem to be made of plastic and the card packets hold 2 flat packed ships... ahh with my Piratey enthralled boyfriend (www.theyakshack.co.uk/pirates (http://www.theyakshack.co.uk/pirates)) less than 10 yards away I just HAD to! So anyway - when he gets home tonight I'll get you a photo of the results, it seems a totally novel idea - not that we will be collecting the full set of ships or anything but it's a REALLY novel way of shifting retail packets :) awesome - it seems to be some kind of game as it came with 3 very small die (dice) - I'll keep you up to date when I know more :) |
