You would think that if Artbox only had to make 30 of these that they could at least punch the swatch hole centered in all of them! ::) Wish i had a few extra dollars lying around. ;) Me too! ;) : Re:Another Pear Tree Card. : Roz March 22, 2005, 04:32:43 PM That's actually really awful! Their premiere card and they've made it skewiff!
Jeez! : Re:Another Pear Tree Card. : ferdinand_the_yak March 22, 2005, 04:42:51 PM Yeah, you'd think with 30, they could do it right ::) It looks awful!
I wouldn't pay for that :P : Re:Another Pear Tree Card. : LikORish-Spider March 22, 2005, 11:50:40 PM Hummmm. Could it be that the printing around the swatch is a little off to the left?
I notice that the ornament on the printed ring at the 3 o'clock position doesn't appear complete, is it? : Re:Another Pear Tree Card. : LikORish-Spider March 23, 2005, 12:00:38 AM I just looked at the pix in the price list. It seems to be a little off center, also. So, I checked mine. It looks like it is not the printing that is off center after all, but it's the hole that is not carefully punched.
: Re:Another Pear Tree Card. : LikORish-Spider March 23, 2005, 12:04:43 AM Just another thought. If there were a master photo set of the rare cards listed by number, these little inconsistancies would make faking them much harder in the future. Each card would, so-to-speak, have its "finger-print" on record.
I think the anomalies make them interesting. I used to be a stamp collector, so I'm crazy anyway. Stamp collectors live for errors. : Re:Another Pear Tree Card. : Anna March 23, 2005, 08:19:52 AM Stamp collectors live for errors. Oh really? I wouldn't know about that. ::) |
