cool thats a really great card, thats one of the best i've seen and i think the map card was the best in this series along with maybe the monster book card

For not having writing on it at all, it is a really nice looking plain swatch.  Although, I wouldn't call it plain at all.  it reminds me of mine with the "water mark" as I call it.  Yours too looks like a really old piece of parchement, which I think is much nicer than the very clean looking ones with writing on them.  Nice job!!  Let us know when you actually get it in your hands!!

I like the watermark effect of the swatch also.  You're getting an important prop from the movie.  You had to get it! ;)

Some companies make cards like that.  Inkworks did Spike cards that had both an auto and a costume.

But no Potter >:(

Have patience! :) Artbox has only done two HP releases.  There are three sets to come this year, so maybe one of them will have a dual auto/costume.

it looks to me like it could be part of his hair, or the surrounding background, and is a bit more interesting than the usual 1/2 white 1/2 black swatches...

I watched the extra features POA DVD, which had a piece on the construction of the animatronic Buckbeak.  They said it took a team months to individually artwork each feather.

Buckbeaks Feather is my favorite prop and I just love looking at all of the different shadings of feathers! ;D

The feather is the next one for me (or the Gryffindor tie to go with my Slytherin one), but right now, I need to save up the money first.  I am sure I will get them eventually.  I just need patience (pretty hard to resist though).

My fuzzy swatch wanted poster arrived today, and it looks fantastic! I now have the three cards I set out to own; the wanted poster, the marauders map, and the daily prophet. And all three have interesting swatches!  ;D  By coincidence, my NSU mag arrived today (as did my graduation photos  ::))

Me too.  I just planned a vacation that leaves a month from today!!  Need to save the money, so there will be no eBay for me until I come back. S ad thing is that I will miss the excitment of the SS release since I will be away that week. when I get back...eBay here I come!!

I managed to go for a short period of time last fall not buying anything.  But I did sell a lot on eBay.  It was fun to have the thrill of an auction without being the one to spend money!

I have to do that in the next couple of weeks sell more than i buy .

sorry about the bluriness but I dont have a scanner anymore so had to use my digital camera.

It is not as good as kbmum's but I like it, plus it was a good price, plus it was a small pic in the auction so I got a bit of a surprise to see how nice it was!

I don't mean to patronise ;) but just double check you tried the "macro" setting - usually it's depicted by a small flower on the menus.

That's always a good one for cards and small items, but it's very difficult with a camera getting good photos of cards

It worked this time, it is still a little blury but i think that is my inability to hold the camera straight  ;)

Well I like this swatch anyway it is pretty and I love the card too, a good pic of the divination class
