Most original set boxes have gone for around $130 lately. I saw a seller offering an original and update (both hobby) box for $165. I would have taken that too... but same deal. No international shipping :P

Open them all up carefull and gentley put some of you cools cards in there seal them up again and open then whilst looking surprised when you come across a card  ;)

You could save the box for a day when you really feel the need to open packs, then go looking for the retail foils.  But, I'm sure you already have a retail foil set!

Or you could mix them all up together (and not look at what it says on the packet) and spead out the fun :D

I like that idea...Mix them altogether and don't look at the front of the packs.  Or, get the retail foils and sell them on eBay.  I think I need some retail foils from that set......I think.

These wasnt any inserts in the retail box was there

Well I finally received my two boxes today.  I opened the hobby box and my pulls were: NOTHING!  I got a dud box. :(  I'm not sure what to do with the retail box, although opening the packs from the hobby box sure felt like they were retail packs. ::)

I'd take it because I'd never gotten one box from the first set, its sad really :'(

Hey, Anna, do you mind telling us where you got the boxes?

Maybe there from a case that had all the "good" boxes cherry picked out. You know get a case and find six or seven good boxes and figure the last two are three will be DUDs.

Not to cast a bad light on anyone, of course.

But if you paid a high price it sure seems that ARTBOX ought to be more even handed in placing the
 inserts.

The boxes came from a seller who lives in New Jersey.  See page 1 for the link to this auction.

The price was $135 BIN for 2 boxes, 1 hobby and 1 retail.  That's an average prices for both of these boxes.  This was the only dud box I got from the original set.  I also had one dud box from the update set.  Overall, I think I've done exceptionally well in my pulls considering the number of dud boxes purchsed by other forum members.

Bummer you didn't get any props/costumes/autos in your hobby box. Even though it may be the standard price for a POA hobby box, I would still want something to show for it ... even if it was a George Weasley Quidditch Robe  :( Luckily, you've done very well in the past pulls  ;)

Ooooh - now I feel horrible for persuading you to buy it.... it seemed like a good deal - but a dud :P

Comiserations on the boxes Anna ~ that's truly awful not to get anything and it's only hardened my resolve not to buy any for myself! :(
