I don't Know about all you guys out thereI am really excited, there is less than a week til the release of Stargate SG1 Season 7 cards From Rittenhouse and it looks like a fantastic set.

what with loads of level of chase

great autos and costumes

and for the first time relic cards

I can't wait  ;D

Right lets do a bit of deduction

If we add up the case loader cards as stated on Rittenhouse site for the Uk and USA versions there will be 615 case

so there will be
100 ish Michael Shanks as Thor autos
300 ish Jolene Blalock as Ishta

then using the 615 cases as a start point there will be 7380 boxes with
3261 relic cards (average of 465 of each relic)
4119 costume cards (average of 800 of each costume)

so not far off being 1 relic for every 2 costume cards

well that is what i make it what do you all think of those numbers

Thanks for posting this! It looks like there are less of those Thor autos than I, even, thought :) My sister is going to start a "fund" so that she'll be closer to getting it in a couple of months.

Those numbers for costumes and props seem pretty good. They are not in overprint, but they are not underprint. I like searching the Relic Cards with my sister because all the different variant swatches ...

Did you remember to subtract relics for the archive boxes and for my customer service supply? And don't forget the 3% waste either!! All of that has to come out of the #ed cards - it's one reason I hate #ed cards....

On average - note the word *average* cases broke down with 8 costumes and 4 relics, so you're not too far off :)

Are these cards numbered?  I must say, I do not watch this show, but I even think the relic cards look great!!!  I can't wait to see some of them at the upcoming show.  May tempt myself in to buying one...or two.

The Relic cards are numbered - and I think they turned out specatularly well, for our first attempt and all :)

Half and half 3 of each type of case

have now finished sorting base sets and my fianl total was 186 in 6 cases

I love these cards especially the relic cards and I am excited because I finally got one from the episode "Absolute Power", I have to thank my brother though he helped me find it, now if I could just get a "1969" International relic card to add to my collection I would be very happy  :)

I also got my Tony Amendola auto card in today and I am already searching eBay and other places for more cards to add to my collection.

The only ones I am having trouble with finding that I really want besides the Thor card is the team cards and the Janet Frasier tribute cards (I am still mad they killed her character off  :'()

I look forward to seeing what Rittenhouse will have to offer for future seasons what with the season seven cards being so good.

I just won my first team card on eBay  :), Daniel Jackson, now all I need are the other three members of SG1 and I will be  ;D

I just feel like posting what I get so someone else can see how excited I am as I get them because only my brother and I care around here about collecting cards  :D

On another note, I have only one variant. It's, ironically, the Daniel Jackson costume card exclusively with this season's binder. Even though I wasn't the happiest with the binder's cover, this card made it worth the buy!

Okay, technically there's only one variant in this scan. The Daniel Jackson Binder Exclusive Costume Card. The swatch is hard to see, but it has some stiching in it, and the thread is protruding out of it. If I were you, I'de put your eyes close to the screen  ... you can just make out the stitching  :P

I've also included scans of the Season 7 Casting Call Cards (Set of 4), and my first Season 7 auto card. The other card is the Season 6 Dual Auto Card (the mult-case incentive card). Along with the Daniel Jackson costume, this is my favorite card!

I have a whole list of cards that run from season 1 to season 7 that I would still love to own. I am actually watching a couple of auctions on eBay that I hope to bid on and win, I will list them here if I do win any of them so fingers crossed that I win at least one ot two  ;)

As I said before I love the new card set I just hope that with the season eight binder that they go back to the whole team on the cover.I loved the new white background but I didn't like that the picture just had Jack and Sam on it when the other binders always had the whole team  :(

It would be nice to have a costume card containing one of Daniels bandanas and I hope to see something come up with Oma Desala in the cards also, that would be nice  :D

 

Sounds like a long list. But, I'm sure that you'll be the first out of the both of us to complete one. I have about Five more cards to go. Two of which are coming from forum members on of which is over two hundred dollars :o.

I would have bought it especially for the Thor card and a few other hard to get ones in their but most of all I would have bought it to just own my very first master set of Stargate cards  ;)

Well I didn't win any of the auctions  I was going to bid on :( but I did manage to finally get the exclusive season 6 Binder with costume card and the promo I wanted with Michael Shanks in it  for a good price :)

I only need the Thor card now to have all of the Michael Shanks trading cards  ;)  I will just have to wait to find it for a price I can afford   ;D

That was a great auction, but a little to rich for my blood   :(

I will jus thave to work on these cards one at a time and hope someday I get that master set I would love to own, but if not I am very happy with what I have  ;D

Hi, Gimli, thanks for pointing me in the direction of this forum - appreciated - now i can start hounding people here about SG1 Team cards. LoL.

Seriously tho, I loved this set too - i have a complete master set, but am still trying to piece together a identically #'d Team set. If anyone has an S-card #'d 083, 084 or 085 i'd love to hear from you, just so i know it's out there - or if you'd be willing to trade for it... Thanks.

You are a lucky man I actually do still have the S2 number 083 I sold a lot of these cards on the weekend and i was only left with 2 S2 cards

I am still patiently waiting for my team card I won on eBay to come   ;)

I finally broke down and bought the season 6 binder with all the cards included that comes with it, so now I only need the premiere binder and then I will have them all  ;D

I finally got my team card of Daniel Jackson  ;D Thanks to Gimli helping me in  getting  Jack and Sam, all I need for the team cards is Teal'c  :)

These cards are just as nice as the season 5 False Gods cards and it seems just as hard to get  ;)

My season 6 Binder also came in, and even though it has Jonas on it I was happy to see that it was a team picture on the cover and not just Jack and Sam. I also have my very first RDA (Jack O'Neill) costume card   thanks to this binder  ;D

I am working on it bit by bit and thanks to people here sending me eBay auctions to keep an eye on, and offering to sell me certain cards it's a little easier to obtain the one's I want   ;)
