Hi guys I'm having a bit of a venimus tenticular problem at the moment. I've just got my Blue bell flame and know I need to use it to defeat the plant, but try as I might it wont even dent it and I keep ending up on the floor with my legs in the air ::) (Harry that is not me)

If its anything like the X Box version (sorry Mark ;)) then what you have to do is to first is to aim at the arms and Diffindo it THEN Incendio it. Repeat this in between dodging the venom it spits at you and the shockwaves it emits.

Pretty sure that was it... have not played this for a long time!

Yep that sounds about right for the PS version, and you have to be quick with it too otherwise it wont work... >:(

Keep moving when you are trying to Diffindo it (this is a bit tricky sometimes) - until you do, it will keep trying to spit and hit you... you aren't really safe until you Diffindo it and then it stays stilll but only for a few seconds...

Actually, keep moving all the time - as you probably have noticed, it likes to home in on poor old Harry, so make it difficult for him by being a moving target :)

When it stays still dont drink any potions or eat anything because it you'll be stunned by a blast of poison.

Thanks guys, sounds fiddly but I'll have a go. I'm sure there wa a hint about it some where but I read it ages before I got there and I'm a 'bear of very little brain'  ::)
