That's funny FTY!  It reminds me of the duel between Captain Jack Sparrow and his nemesis in Pirates of the Caribbean!!  :)

Both of these statues look incredible and are sure to be sell outs very quickly!  Any idea when they are coming out?

What's the verdict guys?

I think he looks great, and have a few on pre-order.  The new line of statues should be good.  Sideshow realized they did things wrong last year and most of the new lines will be much more limited.  No more edition sizes of 9500.  I would be surprised to see any of these new statues over 4000.  They are limiting the retailers to only 6 of each of the new statues, so you won't see dealers being able to order hundreds as they were before.  So the days of seeing them show up on ebay for under retail could possibly be over as well.  I would suggest to anyone that has  interest in these statues to order them and if nothing else you can cancel your order if you are not going to be able to afford it, or if the edition size seems to high.  Just my thoughts.

Very good advice Zach and I would agree with that - I hung back on the Gondorian Helms and wished I could buy one or two and not the set... and boy do I regret it - they wouldn't have shipped yet so I could have changed my mind but I can't change my mind from no order to ordering ;)

So order away and then sleep on it

Yes, they are really good about letting you cancel your orders at any time as well.  I canceled all of my orders from last years lineup, as it was pointless to pay full price for them, but I believe this year will be different as  they will be lower numbers and I don't think you will see near the cancellations.  I don't think they have announced the edition sizes of the new ones yet because they don't want chaos on there website like when the Pippin went on pre-order and have there servers crash.  But from what my rep has told me the edition sizes will be much lower than last year, and I think when they are announced people will be scrambeling to get the last remaining pieces.  Yes I do have Pippin on order, I think he will look better in real life than in the pics.

That is indeed a very very  nice statue..............dont know if it is just me......but why are all the statues of the evil characters so much more desirable then the legolas's, Arwen's, fellowships (apart from Aragorn)......I cant wait to get my Sauron Statue (....if they ever ship it)

I know what you mean but I think in many ways it's partly when their faces are less human, they are less difficult to capture, my fav statue so far is the recent Morgul Lord statue.. (yes along with the original Balrog but I am hoping Jas will rob a bank and buy me one for Christmas ;)) ROFL

Although maybe it's just bitterness that I don't have one on pre-order I don't like Sauron as much as I thought I would.... maybe when we get more pics I'll change my mind :)

Well you see you have had the benefit of seeing it ;) unlike most of us here... ok ok don't you and chucks gang up on me now ;)

When I come back from Memorabilia and I've seen it I will probably have changed my mind :P (it's a women's right to change her mind after all ;)) - I saw the WitchKing/Morgul Lord statue there and I fell in love immediately  ;D

....if you are still feeling bitter about Sauron....I think you can still pre-order one at Forbidden Planet website....whether you will get it or not is another issue!!
