: Valentines Thread.... yes we do need one : Roz February 14, 2005, 04:44:49 PM ... besides it might remind one or two of the men on the forum who have forgotten to pick up a rose (or 12) on the way home.
So what does everyone do for Valentines the world over, do roses get imported everywhere or are there other traditions? Of course if you are a TOTAL geek you could have sent this :) which I think is actually pretty cool. http://www.thinkgeek.com/tshirts/generic/724a/ : Re:Valentines Thread.... yes we do need one : sketchqueen February 14, 2005, 05:44:39 PM I don't like flowers (they die, or get eaten by the animals in my house) but I am enamored with chocolates. This year Rob got me some "Shari's Berries" which are chocolate dipped Strawberries. These suckers are HUGE - he got the triple pack, which was 6 Berries, 2 Hand Dipped Cookies (basically chocolate chip cookies dipped into either white chocolate or milk chocolate) and 2 small boxes of truffles (liquor filled)
He got nothing yet and what he's getting - well, let's say he's getting a coupon booklet of favors :) : Re:Valentines Thread.... yes we do need one : mcgonagall February 15, 2005, 03:49:37 AM Happy Valentines day to all ( everyone should be wished that )
hubby surprised me with a silver charm bracelet and the first charm he put on it was a heart. He is going to add more for our wedding anniversary. ;D what did everyone else get ????????? : Re:Valentines Thread.... yes we do need one : Trey February 15, 2005, 04:47:41 AM I got a rose and a cute pink teddy bear :-*
: Re:Valentines Thread.... yes we do need one : Roz February 15, 2005, 02:55:55 PM I was fortunate enough to get a cartoon card from a "secret admirer" who has EXACTLY the same drawing style as Mark...isn't that a coincidence??
A red rose too and some trousers for skating which was the most romantic bit :P Well ... to be fair I really wanted them ;) : Re:Valentines Thread.... yes we do need one : ferdinand_the_yak February 15, 2005, 02:57:45 PM NO?????????????? :o :o :o
What a coincidence! : Re:Valentines Thread.... yes we do need one : Ed... Van Halen February 15, 2005, 06:39:05 PM I loathe this day....well, yesterday...
: Re:Valentines Thread.... yes we do need one : savage727 February 15, 2005, 07:07:50 PM Ed , Ed!! It's just one day my friend! I always have a good laugh when I am out hunting for the right gift and card for Valentine's Day. I spend alot of time reading the cards until I find the right one. I look at the poor guys trying to find a card or gift and see the struggle they are going through. Sometimes it is all I can do to not start laughing out loud at what I see! It seems they are going through some sort of traumatic experience! ;) Some guys just amble up and pick up any old card while others are in agony for a long time until they finally decide on one. Some do not even buy anything and leave with a haunted look on their faces!
Picking out flowers is just as hard for many guys - why I just do not know! ??? Anyway I got my wife a card, flowers, and a baloon. We had plans to go out for dinner but a snow and ice storm left us without power until a few hours ago so we will be going out another day. I hope all you ladies had a wonderful Valentine's Day! :) : Re:Valentines Thread.... yes we do need one : rns91294 February 15, 2005, 11:12:51 PM I don't like flowers (they die, or get eaten by the animals in my house) My husband does not believe in flowers for the simple reason that they symbolize love, yet they die. He has a point, but....... Anyway, he got me a very nice plant that i wanted, a one pound toblerone chocolate bar and some Harry Potter children's valentine's day cards just for fun. : Re:Valentines Thread.... yes we do need one : DewDude February 17, 2005, 01:56:52 AM Of course if you are a TOTAL geek you could have sent this :) which I think is actually pretty cool. http://www.thinkgeek.com/tshirts/generic/724a/ I love those geeky t-shirts, but my wife isn't a geek, so I don't think she'd appreciate it too much. :) Do they make them in baby sizes? I want to get a slew of them for our baby (when we have one) and a classic Star Trek crew member uniform shirt. Mark |
