What you are looking at is the ULTIMATE COLECTION in Costume cards. You get all 35 Costume Cards from the Lord Of The Rings. You get all 8 from the FOTR, all 9 from TTT, all 9 from the ROTK and all 9 from the Trilogy card set.

It'll be interesting to see if the reserve is ever met.

Hmm I can do a lot of the pics with my own scanner (then I think I'll pester Jas for the rest).

This would have been my auction a few weeks ago.  :'(  :'(  :'(

But now it's too late, only one card is missing in my collection. :) Okay, most of them aren't delivered yet, but they are bought. :)

I'll be interested to see what this auction fetches, if only as a guide to how much my master costume set is probably worth! :o 8)

I guess, the price would be higher if the cards would be sold separately. So it may not be an indication of the "real" worth. In my opinion, the real worth is the price you can get for selling all the cards separately.

But it will be interesting to see what it goes for - sadly I daresay someone with deep pockets will buy it - and sell the contents off individually at a profit... well good luck to them :)

I haven't checked to see what he's spending his money on these days, whether it's still LOTR or other card sets?

Come to think of it - being the lucky duck that I am I am only missing 2... but they are 2 pricey ones, Frodo's elven nightshirt and Arwen FOTRU as well :(

I agree it will be interesting to see what happens with this auction.  I am only missing one card myself - Frodo's Elven Nightshirt.

Frodo's Elven Nightshirt isn't fetching the price it used to do a few months ago, but like we said on another thread ... Arwen's still got the pulling power! ;)
