: CHEEKY BOX seller : Roz January 18, 2005, 09:05:22 PM : Re:CHEEKY BOX seller : ferdinand_the_yak January 18, 2005, 09:16:31 PM I saw that one... but I and other forummers know what to look for PoA/PoAU, hobby/retail etc
Hope the buyer realised what they were buying! : Re:CHEEKY BOX seller : rns91294 January 18, 2005, 10:00:54 PM But it could be from the original set. The description talks about the 20 hot boxes, the 5000 release and no mention of film cards. I wonder......
: Re:CHEEKY BOX seller : Roz January 18, 2005, 10:03:35 PM Or it's just an old auction template they used??
: Re:CHEEKY BOX seller : blackcat20 January 19, 2005, 03:44:08 AM I had my eye on that one too, but never got around to sending the seller a question.
They are not the only seller with update cards saying there were only 5000 produced etc, but the pic on this one makes it especially confusing... :P : Re:CHEEKY BOX seller : rns91294 January 19, 2005, 09:18:49 PM I think it must be a stock photo. If we all remember, a year ago, there was a seller with 0 feedback who listed 18 hobby boxes from the first release along with a PS2 game. He sold them all for $80-$150. Then, the negatives starting pouring in. Anyway, I think the picture was the same one, so I think he got it from stock as well. I also saw this picture on others before who noted in their auction that it was not for a hobby box, rather retail.
Anyway, this seller is starting to get positive feedback, so I know something is being sent. Just curious as to what. : Re:CHEEKY BOX seller : kbmum January 19, 2005, 10:37:33 PM The seller has perfect feedback and appears to sell mostly non-sport cards. It's probably an update box, but the picture is definitely a stock photo from the Artbox website. Looks like an honest mistake, to me.
: Re:CHEEKY BOX seller : rns91294 February 03, 2005, 10:20:44 PM And still no feedback has been left.
