The Leaky Cauldron has new pictures taken during the filming of GOF.  They can be seen here:

There's also a countdown to the release of Half-Blood Prince.

I wonder when Warner Bros. will release a picture of Mad-Eye Moody?  There was some info at the Leaky Cauldron that his face was done with prosthetics rather than by computer in post-production.  I hope the scene where he transfigures Draco into a ferret makes it into the movie!

Me too! ;D  That was a great scene in the book.

It'll also be interesting to see how they handle the scene where the echoes of Harry's parents and Cedric appear out of Voldemort's wand in the graveyard scene.

This is a bit late but those avatars are so clever ;D

Luluhime is it only Harry ones that can be done or anything on DVD?

Providing I have the DVD, it can be anything  ;) I can also do it with AVI, MPG, MPEG, ASF and WMV files  :) The only thing with DVDs is that I have to screen cap the frames manually so it takes abit longer, whereas I can use a program to extract the frames for me on the video files.

Oh dear I think the latin was easier  ???

Just being nosey for the time being (as you might have guessed).

At some point I will pm you for a master class in avatar making if you don't mind.  I can just see Pinky bobbing around at the side of the screen :D

By the way do you have the patience of a saint??? ;D

Sure, I don't mind going through it  ;) ;D

Indeed, I have to! The sirus poster icon I did took just over 2 hours to make. I took the screen caps (32 of them) from the scene in hogsmead (you can probably see bits of snow falling infront of it) - where the camera passes by a hut with the poster on. The camera was moving along, but at the same time, getting closer to the poster meaning each frame had to be resized and positioned on top of the previous frame correctly. I still didn't get it 100% right which is why the background tends to wiggle abit (same with kbmums icon).  ::) :P ;D

I love doing it though...I must be mad  ;D

I think this might be one of those times when you need to retract a statement.  As far as I can see this is bloomin' perfect ;D

How do you use the icons?

Copy the text under the icon you want (click and drag your cursor over the url, then right click and select 'copy')
Go into your profile and in the avatar section, tick the box where it says, 'I have my own pic'. Right click in that box and click paste.  ;D ;)
