: Willy Wonka trading cards : ugtc December 31, 2004, 09:08:05 PM Does anyone know whether Artbox are going to do a Willy wonka trading cards in connection to the film.
Happy NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!! :D :D : Re:Willy Wonka trading cards : Roz December 31, 2004, 10:00:19 PM Hmm that would be cool.
Although they would overproduce it ;) Anyway - I believe Darren of Cards Inc has been sniffing around the set, meeting Depp etc., so they probably have some license of some sort (for lithographs, bobble heads (ick) or collectables of some sort). It looks unlikely that they have the trading card license (if there is one) because it's not on CI 2004 line up. The only thing on there that offers hope is: ### Unanounced Movie License ## - Sticards (2nd June 2005) Does that coincide at all with the film's release? And sticards are weird sticker/trading card hybrids... I wonder ?? Ahh well only time will tell. : Re:Willy Wonka trading cards : olly December 31, 2004, 11:29:59 PM Artbox is a safe bet for this set, well the last I heard anyway. ;)
: Re:Willy Wonka trading cards : Roz December 31, 2004, 11:51:22 PM Cool - any idea when the films out folks?
: Re:Willy Wonka trading cards : ugtc December 31, 2004, 11:59:05 PM sometime in June I think
: Re:Willy Wonka trading cards : blackcat20 January 01, 2005, 06:29:21 AM Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is currently in post-production, and according to IMDB will be released starting
13 July in France, 15 July in USA and 1 September in Australia. Love how they make us Aussies wait! >:( : Re:Willy Wonka trading cards : ferdinand_the_yak January 01, 2005, 07:01:19 PM Oooh - I can't wait! It sucks we have to wait over a month and a half after most of the world to see it though :P
1. Charlie and the CF is one of my all time fave books :) 2. A minute possibility Mr Depp may be signing some cards! Yahooooooooo! ;D : Re:Willy Wonka trading cards : sketchqueen January 04, 2005, 02:23:20 AM One would hope that he would sign this time - unlike the Sleepy Hollaw debacle Inkworks had with him :( They even went so far as to issue "Redemption" cards for his autograph that (rumour has it) never materialized :(
