the info is behind the door which usually has a "do not disturb" sign.  but you have to work your way through a couple of questions to get in...

i can't even find the questions lol  :P

Click on the hair scrunchie to get to the office door.  You'll see a Christmas tree in the mirror -- click on it and the door will open.  If you click on the packages, the tags will pop up with the questions written on them.

Honestly, the books finished! Why's it take so long to get it on the shelves?? Bah. I'm very impatient!

me too but i have just pre ordered my english copy and as soon as the stores open will be pre ordering my aussie copy too

A little depressed.  I was so excited this morning when I heard she was done, but 7 months to release?  Why so long?

Proof reading? Corrections? Partial Rewrites and then they probably have to produce close on to 15 million copies before release date (otherwise they won't be ready for the demand).

So I guess that could easily take 7 months!

I guess you are right.  I was just hoping for a Spring release (Aprilish).

ah well, it will make good winter reading for us Aussies!

Roz is right, there is a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff that has to be done before the book can be released...it has to be perfected even before it can be published. Writers are commonly great with their writing but often make punctuation and grammical errors.

And now I have time to reread OotP again ;)

I had  to do that with the last book; I got my mum to lock it in her filing cabinet until exams were over...  :P

I will be lining up from 3 am in the morning even though i have preordered . I will get my book as soon as they open and then i will catch a cab home and will talk to no one until I have finished the book.


Mind you i will have a large supply of junk food and dri nks in my room so it is be peaceful  ;D

Yea the announcement yesterday here about the next Harry Potter book is having the same reactions you all have been talking about - we want it earlier as well.  The building up of excitement to the release of the book in July is going to be something to see with all the booksellers trying to out do one another.   :)  How soon do you think the book will be available on CD - at the same time of release as the book or after?

Can someone please tell me what the difference is between the Normal version and the Adult edition?

Oh, and it was on the news last night how it is a number one seller on Amazon already.

Got ya.  So the US only has one version.

I tried to limit myself to 200 pages a day, over 4 days.  I figure with the long waits between books I had to drag it out as much as possible...  ;D
