from the picture of the helm, then themace.. then seeing the helm and mace sell, sell out and see this?

I think it is tall. ok.. but way to thin, i watched, paused the movie at that spot and it is like night and day.. someone order that figure a pizza

I think the helm of it is spot on - but Sala is a LOT bulkier than that (there's no need to order him a pizza I can assure you!)

Don't worry guys. The picture is a bit scary, but it's not the finished item. It is the finished sculpture, but the armour and other stuff is still to go on, along with the completed paint-job. It's just some work-in-progress pics from Sideshow to keep those of us who have it on pre-order quiet for a little longer !

It will look fantastic when finished, at just under 2' tall.

And I need to always double check how many dashes there are before jumping to conclusions! I was sitting here thinking... just under 2 inches tall? He's not going to be very scary :P

It's still my dream to have a WitchKing statue. I have an arched alcove in my room that I have put a book case in and a vase for flowers (and might I add *Mark* that I've not had any flowers in it since I moved there!!!) but since I am somewhat lacking in the flowers department I think a Witchking Statue there would totally ROCK :D

:) Actually I havent seen the Balrog WETA statue, I fancy the Witchking as it's current and I think still financially obtainable one day ;)

No, I am something of a closet trading card fan in person :) but my love of LOTR is obvious by the GIANT prismatic LOTR map on the wall, and a wood sculpture of treebeard that someone (can't remember who :P EDDDDDDD) gave me last Christmas.

I think most of my friends would think it was cool and not be scared :) but I daresay they would be scared if they knew how much I was into trading cards... if they lifted those LOTR binders off the book case, or opened up my photo albums - what secrets they would reveal!

I do not think that any of these pix are of the finished product but of the models during the design phase. I, too, have one on order and ...............two feet high..wooo hoo!!!!!

You are correct Chico - those are photos of the model under development.  Sauron does not have any armor on yet but rest assured that the finished product will be spectular.  I wish I pre-ordered one!  

Well here is the finished sauron.. so much for waiting until this weekend to see it finished :|
