 Hi,  I was just looking at Gollum Auto's on eBay, and found two for the ROTK.  One is signed in black, and one is signed in blue.  I noticed most of the others from the set are all in blue.  Could the black one be a fake?  Thanks.

I don't think it was *fake* per se but let's say it wasn't pack inserted

If you look, this person has many autos up for bid that are in black instead of blue.  Should I hold off for a blue one?  Or do you think this is just a bad scan?  Thanks!!

The black signatures are not fake.  Both the Gollum and Theoden Auto Cards from the ROTK set were signed in both blue and black marker by the two stars.  I have a black signed Auto card from Theoden that I personally pulled from the pack.  I inquired and was told the story posted above.   :)

The black ones are the rarer of the two colors so good luck if you bid.   :)

Hey thanks.  I wrote to him and he said they are a dark blue, just a bad scan, but if you pulled a black one, that makes me feel better. I was afraid to bid, but I might now. Thanks.

Has anyone else heard Gollum signed in blavk ink?  I saw Theoden's on eBay in black as well. Just want to make sure this is legit and that the auction description is true, that it was pack pulled ;)

I'd really like an unsigned Boromir from FOTR< or, even better, the unissued Sir Ian Mckellen  :P :P :P

There was a black Gollum auto at one time - they were leaked befoer the release of the rotk set - apparently Andy Serkis had given them to some fans; 6 or 7 of them - they were fetching £150-£200 at the time!!!!
