Well I got my present from my Secret Santa this morning! Thank you, whoever you are! I haven't opened it yet - I'm saving it for Christmas day but it's so heavy I'm going to be wondering what it is for over a month!!

Check that package you got to see if it is the one I had sent to you from Scotland.  The gift I sent is heavy and no folks this is not part of the Secret Santa deal but a Christmas present I am sending Mark.   :)

Ahh well with all these presents arriving Mark you ought to start looking for a Christmas tree to put them under :) and perhaps a flat big enough for a Christmas tree too :P

Sorry for the scare! Yes it is from Scotland... I was confused because it didn't have a sender's address on it and there was no note inside apart from a card which I thought I'd better not open until Christmas....

Yup, I got your email, PM and responded to both, I got your package on the 7th and the other the same day that I didnt see. Wasnt quite as long though so I will have to call my mom and make her open it for me :P

Well the mystery package is opened. And I am a dope! I had ordered the 3 the art of the lord of the rings books with drawings in them and I had forgot about them. Guess they were a little late for me seeing Alan :(

I cant wait to open my pressie, I put the box under the tree and didnt even open it cause I dont know if it is wrapped in xmas wrapping or not....plus the closer I get to the actual present, the more I will just want to rip through the wrapping or jiggle it around until I work out what it is and ruin the surprise  ;)

Lovely Australia Post left my present on the front door step..........yes on the front door step....and in our estate most houses done have front fences (like ours) so the present was able to be seen by anyone walking or driving past.......

I tell ya I am a LITTLE (understatement by the way) PEEVED about that and am going to make a complaint to the post office after xmas(cause I wont get to go before xmas)

They are good, arent they?  :P Ive had envelopes containing autograph cards left on the ground next to my letter box on rainy days! They are pretty unbelievable...

do you know the secret to good postage always give your postman a xmas gift and he will always make sure your mail is always looked after.

but im never home when the postman delivers....I am always at work  :(

Mcgonagall you sure are right about that!  I give my Postman a very nice cash gift at Christmas every year and he really goes out of his way to make sure all my mail and packages are handled with tender loving care.  Instead of leaving oversize letters and packages out on my deck he puts them inside my garage so the weather does not ruin them!  Well worth the money spent believe you me.   :)

I wish. I get packages outside my door rain or shine.  Once, I had paintings sent to me from a cruise ship that I won, valued at over $500.  They were sent in a cylinder, but I got home right as it started to rain, thankfully, or else they would have all been ruined.

Well its Christmas Eve and the post has been.
Nothing from my secret santa. Very disappointing.
