Wow yes! Talk about a saturated market... do you think we should now wait to sell our rarer cards or do you think there's so much stuff out there that it's saturated forever now?

the last set was about the prop and clothing cards.... this set is all about the autographs. I think the clothing/prop cards will be stagnant for awhile if for months sorry :( ... the autos will be good until the next movie.

....."sell our rarer cards"

tough call....  but I have learned that it is always better to sell while the item is hot and new. (Been selling cards since 1986.)

Also the unopened boxes should gain momentum from here.

I think I plan to trade most of my spares rather than sell so it's ok :P I was just wondering about the 500 Lupin jackets I have spare :P

Well I have just been buying auto cards of "that site", no not the big fishes - they out of my league, besides one is bound to be in my case when it arrives next week (hey I figure one has to at least end up in Oz).

So I figured I work on getting the other ones regardless of what I pull and I'm doing it at a fairly reasonable cost too (much less than what I thought I would be paying).

As for the props and others - I wait until I see what my case returns before I venture down getting the rest and if the market is saturated, then I figure a week or so of waiting, watching won't hurt.

I had the same ease with Trilogy autos too - didn't buy a box and paid no more than US 40 and most of them I picked up for US15.

So I wonder if a lot of people have over spent?

You could always put one up for competition 9.  Of course, you will get more out of it by selling.  If I don't get one in my boxes, I would be glad to possibly buy one from you.

Its still so early in the game to tell what is going on, this time in the release of the last set, I was still buying cases on ebay for $600, and ebay was flooded with singles for about a month, then it all dried up.  granted there is a lot more of this product, but I think you will see with the time of year that there will be a lot more buyers enter the market as well.  I still don't think this set was overproduced, I think that much of the harry potter market have not begun to get involved in this.  Many people didn't jump into buying topps lotr cards until two towers which was the 3rd set released, and I would wager it was much more heavily produced than this set as topps has much bigger licence and ships product to the far corners of the earth!!  :)
