I say it will go for $2225

Crazy that he only put it on a one day auction.  I wonder if that will help it or hurt it.

At the current rate of growth ($600 in the first 18 minutes) it will hit $48,800 in 24 hours :)

Anyone that is not planning on opening 30 cases (with some luck) and is wanting a master set better be bidding on this card, because I don't know how many more we will see on ebay. I wonder if the guy is going to list any of the other big autographs.  

Just doubled to $1225, I put a bid in up to $1000, but I will yield to Sonarghost as I already have one and don't want to be greedy....actually I do want to be greedy but my credit cards says I cannot....until next time Sonarghost!!!

Okay seems all quiet on the bidding front, a rush of blood to the head I have to book mark for the countdown because there will be some action, unless another one hits ebay.

I think there will be a number of people doing some last minute bidding, but I will resign myself to be a spectator for the remainder of the auction.  But don't think its because you shook your fist in anger, but rather my wife will shake hers and taht is much much scarier :)

I'm not married yet but believe me my girlfriend can be "persuasive" as well!

Wow yeah!

I hope that he gets reasonable prices... after all most people haven't had their boxes yet and many are waiting to see what they get before purchase!

Exactly what I was thining, Roz. I'm sure that other countries besides England is waiting to see what kind of luck they have before bidding ... I'm one of those hopefulls!

I don't think I'll be pushing the triple auto over the US$2000 limit though and I do expect a new ebayer called avde2004 to make an entrance as he/she seems to be paying at the top end for original and update cards in the last few days.

Actually this seller has been getting good prices for a couple of the Willows and the Monster Book of Monsters amongst others.

Whats really worrying is that, for once, TheCollectorZone prices are the same as or better than the ebay prices on some of the auctions I've seen - excluding the BIN for the Daniel Radcliffe  at GBP1250 of course

i'll be listing an autograph master set (broken down into 1) the triple auto. 2) the harry auto 3) the ron auto 4) the hermione auto and 5) the remaining 12 autograph cards as of tomorrow night through thursday. I have a complete master set. The prop and costume master set will follow sometime on Friday and then the case topper, film cel, and normal master sets will follow on Saturday. Just thought I would let everyone know...wish me luck!

Are Tomunique and nonsportdepot*com the same person? The used exactly the same own made picture for a (nearly) Costume-Cinema Master-Set. Hmmm. But one bought things from the other. I don´t know what i should think about it. Tomunique seems to be a very very good and trustful seller. We had good contact ( i bought one of these sets from him).

I don't think so tower. I have actually won items from both dealers and they are different sellers...not only that but the payment forms they accept are different. Tommy accepts paypal from anyone but The depot only accepts them from outside the U.S. (We have to pay by money order) Which kind of made me nervous sending a $900.00 money order for a peartree card!

Maybe just one asked the other if he could use his scan. Or he used it without asking. ;)

Down to 14 minutes, I will pop myself some popcorn and see what it does, I hope it goes up more, as I love to watch the last few minutes of auctions, especially for auctions that are up high like this and I own one of the cards just like it :)  (I apologize if that came off as a gloat.....hmmm no I don't)

Very boring finish, but still a good price of $1950.  I think people are still waiting to open their cases, and hope that more start popping on ebay.

I think that will look like a bargain in 3 months time!

I don't think people have any idea how rare it is yet, or how difficult it is to pull... look even Zach hasn't pulled one yet ;)

I really thought this would go over the $2000 dollar mark.  The bidding was very weak at the end.  :P

I think it will be the second and third ones on there that make the really good money, as if you look at the first couple of pear tree cards on ebay compared to when I listed mine (about 3 weeks after product was released, and about the 3rd or 4th to hit ebay) and I got $2427 out of mine, which I believe was the high, if not really close to the high.  I think Roz is right in saying that people will think this was a bargain in a few months as people will see just how rare it is.  And I still have a few boxes to open, so I will spend a little extra time rubbing them for luck and maybe I will pull one, but yes this is a very rare card.  Even if there are 50 to 75 in existence, a good number will be locked away in packs for who knows how long, just waiting for that first look at light and the absolute amazement on the face of whoever is opening the pack :)

I expected a War at the end and didn't see one.  A little dissapointed,

Ah but the other one appearing just a couple of hours before the end did take away some of the late expected bids ( The new one went from US$100 to US$1525 in 90 minutes )

...nice to see Zach, Richard and Olly in there as well as me  :D

I definetly feel MUCH better about paying $2500 for the entire set of 16, although I am sure the dealer who sold them to me doesn't, if he saw what this one went for.  I do kinda feel bad, as he was the same dealer that gave me the 25 case card for $250.

The harry ended at $842, that is still considerably lower that MPC's initial price.  Will it go up or go down?  I think that people are still waiting for cases, the Hermione last year had a few early ones clear close to $600, then came down as people found them in cases more, but they won't be finding this one and thats only the price of 1.5 cases.  I would be thrilled to open 1.5 cases and get a Harry autograph, even if that was the only chase card I recieve from the case.  Would you?

...with the triple auto going for about $2000 USD... it will help keep the update boxes from tanking. I think the boxes will slowly go up from here until christmas. just my opinion. I am happy the triple sold for that much. (though it may have done better if it was more then one day)

Bloody hell i have missed all of this, left last thurs and come back today to the card world and so much has happened..nice prices and i hope i pull something good
