Seriously, when I joined the board when I started collecting (TT set) and when TT, TTU and ROTK came out, I struggled to keep up with the posts. Now if there is 1 post a day, thats lucky.

Somehow feel we have taken away alot of their clientele

These boards are open to LOTR and Potter so if its in peoples interests they will come over here ...

Also topps did block the potter talk ..

Gandalf, by far. The 'wielder of the flame of Arnor' really wins it for me.
Though Dumbledore rocks as well.

Though I gotta ask... what would these two fight about anyway? I would prefer to see 'em on the same side in a real fight

That's an excellent point, either they would go for a Butterbeer in Hogsmeade, or Gandalf would offer Dumbleydore a swig of that elvish stuff they they had in FOTR which they drank to make them all feel better in the mines of Moria!

Defiently i think Roz is to blame  , I'm playing Roz  . I like the topps board but mainly for trades and promoting ebay listings. Certainly topps gives you freedom of speech, but only to a certain extent unlike this forum. I hope for this forum to become crowded, and watch Roz collapse under the pressure of being a MOD

I am glad for this new forum.  I was getting sick of the topps forum.  I just wish that someone else would have had the power to make all the Lord of the Rings sets.  Topps did a good job, but I can only imagine how nice it would have been if Inkworks, or Rittenhouse would have done it.  We might have seen more of the autographs we want (like wormtongue and Sauron) instead of Figwit and Mark Ordesky. Oh well, beggers can't be chooosers.

I am sorry but I find that rather obviously Sauron.

His evil spread over entire countries. He had armies (not a few measley death eaters) and not to mention a ring that once in his hand made him impervious to just about anything.

That's not to say that it wouldn't be tough for Gandalf to beat Voldermort but if Harry can do it - Gandy can do it!

I wouldn't say Harry beat Voldemort... more was quite lucky. But there can only be one person that can kill Voldemort isn't that what the prophecy said? 'The one who has the power to vanquish the Dark Lord... etc'. So technically Gandalf couldn't do it.

But then technically, Gandalf should not have been able to come back to life either after the Balrog fight. Hmmm....
