My favorite book is POA and the best part i think is whebn sirius invites harry to live with him. That is so cool.
I love the C.d's I have POA and GOF am trying to find copies of
philospher , chamber and ootp.

they are selling for around 90.00 in aus

I heard that it was because you folks in the US don't have the word philosopher? Which sounds silly - do you have a dictionary handy? Smiley

I thought that rumour sounded particularly silly  Grin. I wonder why they changed it then? And apparently there a re slang changes as well... but I am not sure if they did slang changes for all the other international editions as well. Surely British slang would be as equally tricky for other countries as it is for Americans

I understood most Brit slang I read as I read quite a lot... however I have to check... bubble and squeak and what is spotted dick anyway? Ridiculous  Wink

Spotted dick, is some sort of pudding/dessert and bubble and squeak is leftovers fried together into a burger shape, (i think anyway - honestly I'm british and have never had any of them!  Wink)

i can only guess that bubble and squeak means 'leak' as in a leak in the water mains. My favorite but not in the books is "you 'avin a bubble bath" =  you having a laugh  Roll Eyes

Yea someone said it to me when i was outside the odeon leciester square for the HP POA PREM at 4am in the morning (FIRST ONE THERE!) made me laugh just to hear him say it  Roll Eyes

We call the course after the main meal "Desert" and pudding is a type of Desert here in the States.  Geez now you got me hungry!!   Smiley
