Once again, eBay U.S. screws its sellers

I received an e-mail from eBay today, touting some
lovely
changes that will be effective starting April 19. On that date, sellers will be able to list auction-style items for free, up to 50 per month. You can also add Buy It Now for free. Sounds great!
The e-mail then states that to encourage sellers to offer low-cost shipping, eBay will charge the final value fee based on the total purchase price -- including shipping.
Now, I understand there are sellers who charge excessive shipping. Quite bizarre, no? But, it's true. Rather than deal with those people, eBay is punishing all sellers by hitting them with a final value fee on shipping. I charge $2.75 to ship one card in the U.S. in a bubble mailer. That price includes delivery confirmation, sleeve, top loader, team bag, extra cardboard and some packing peanuts to make the mailer thick enough to qualify for delivery confirmation. There's no profit made on my shipping cost, folks. I will now have to charge $3.02 to offset the FVF on the shipping price. How the hell does that make shipping cost less for buyers?

Hey, you forgot a few things.
1. Internet Service Provider cost.
2. Paper to print shipping labels.
3. Printer Ink....real cheap this.
4. Gas to the Post Office and back.
5. Paypal already charges a fee for all money received, which includes the shipping.
We are basically paying double. Ebay is making someone rich.
