I have been really enjoying this show and even managed to get season one for my birthday
However, ABC doesn't love it half as much as the fans do because in there infinite wisdom they decided to cancel it. The show will go to 13 episodes this season according to some sites then will not be renewed for anymore episodes thanks to the low ratings it received.
This is one of those shows that the strike really hurt and I find it a shame because I enjoyed watching it every week and it made me laugh. Sadly we get to keep all those crime dramas and reality shows and we lose a show that was thoughtful and funny at the same time :'(
I will miss the cast of "Pushing Daisies" and I wish them luck with whatever they do. Finally, here is to keeping my fingers crossed that the creator Bryon Fuller gets his comics for PD and the movie he wants to make so that we see this fun and quirky cast sometime again in the future
