John - do you still need all these? If so give me a shout and I'll get them for you, there might be someone a bit nearer who can help but am glad to step in if not.

Cheers

Hi Roz,
Thanks, yes, I still need them.
I was just released from hospital last night.
I had a raging perforated, gangrenous, necrotic appendix.
Luckily, I made it. Grin
Sorry for the late reply.

I am recovering a little, day-by-day. Still on antibiotics.
Thanks for asking. I suppose I'll be recovered in two weeks or so. Praying

I had my appendix taken out quite a few years ago.  It wasn't infected and hadn't burst, but it still took a few weeks post-surgery before I felt better.  This is a good time for you to relax with your feet up. Smiley

John,Sorry to hear of your illness, but I will have to disagree about resting with your feet up, now is the time to walk, move and stretch. Adhesion are a real post-op complication that can affect the way your bowels function in the future. Now is the time to move to prevent adhesion. Sorry, being a nurse for over 35 years, makes me a real bully.                                            dave

Dave,
Thanks. Tell me about nurses. I live with one. My wife, so I get PT advice 24X7.  Roll Eyes  Cheesy

I think kbmum was talking in a more "spiritual kind of Relaxing with feet up", meaning "take it easy".
