There's hope for us all yet.....might I take this oppertunity to suggest you buy 'Machine Head' by Deep Purple....if you like Zep you'll love Purple....resist Spears, Aguilera and co with all your might!!!! Spam is weird, the others aren't so weird although I've never met someone your age who does. Do you like Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings? If you do you'll fit in here just fine... Smiley

Hey Sam,
Next time one of the rap crew dares question your music taste, you should just mention to them that several of the best-selling rap records from the past few years actually sample classic rock tracks and use the stuff as 'inspiration'.... two notable examples include Puff Daddy's 'Missing You' which essentially IS A COVER of 'Every Breath You Take' by The Police and again, Puff Daddy for 'Come With Me' which used Led Zeppelin's mighty 'Kashmir' riff...Eminem has used Aerosmith...I could go on....

Also, have you seen Hewlett Packard's recent commercials in association with Fender guitars??? The song the kids are trying to play is 'Smoke on the Water' by Deep Purple....don't see kids in their bedrooms playing 'air-ixing decks' do you???

Ah Sam you are dealing with young skulls full of mush so do not despair.  It takes courage to be your own man and not a mindless zombie who caves into the most current fad in music or clothing!!  Keep up the good fight!!  Smiley
