Hi
been told by my supplier that the new Trilogy set is released end of October.  100 cards in set (33 from each film and 1 checklist card) Chrome with gold lettering

There is going to be 10 auto's with new signings and signings from stars who have ONLY signed once before

There will be 9 Chrome memorabillia cards

36 Packs per box, 5 cards per pack

any new info out there?

Hmm I haven't heard an answer to this question yet but I fear it will only be one item per box (which is giong to make this set more expensive than ever!) Sadly 99% of inserts in the boxes are worth much less than the price of a box in the ROTKU set  Angry

But more info on trilogy can be find here:

(most of the interesting stuff is on the second page)

Hi
I totally agree bought 5 cases of ROTK UPDATE (and NO Peter Jackson) and made a loss.  NO ONE seems to want to pay much for them anymore.  Even rare auto's went for low prices.  I think if TOPPS don't put an auto and costume card in each box demand will be low.  36 PACKS per box, 5 cards per pack thats 180 cards per box, 100 cards per set.  God 1 set per box + crappy auto or costume card.  May get £25 for both on ebay, looks like I will make a loss of £25 per box

Alot of card dealers I know didn't bother with the Update set and I don't think they'll get this one either

SORT IT OUT TOPPS

You would think with 10 auto's and 9 prop cards that they would do more than one per box or one auto every other box.  Then again they will probably make the auto's limited.

Has Topps put out a product (film or tv) lately that had more than 1 per box?

Start the list - Daredevil - seemed to be pretty consistent one per box (that product sucked unless you were one of the few with a Afleck of Garner auto)

And before someone says it - I know 2 - towers update was an auto mixed in every case or so).

I am hoping for the best but preparing for the worst!  Topps is so uneven in their distribution - some boxes I did not get either an Auto or Clothing card while in others I got two Clothing and an Auto Card!  Go figure!

I think they are only going to put one Auto/Clothing card per box.

You have had boxes that had none or two per?

I think topps is the best at keeping to the ratio!

Look at Artbox w/ POA - some with none, some with one, some with two and others with 3.

In some ways it is a plus if you get one with two or more on the other hand if you get multiple duds in a case it sucks.
