I think the Brits have a whole lot more candy to choose from than we do over here in the US. 

Atomic Fireballs- solid jawbreaker/gobstopper type thing.  Cinnimon HOT.  I hate hot cinnimon candy. 

Sour patch kids - gummys shaped like children with sour on the outside. YUM!

Mounds bar - chocolate, coconut, almonds

cow tales - caramel whips with cream center

Tootsie rolls - chocolate chews

Pixie stix - a straw containing candy powder

Air Heads - wide flat fruit chewy things

Also how about non candy stuff like:
Funyuns - onion crispy things (better than they sound) 

Combos - pretzel chunks with cheese in the middle

Jules, we have Mars Bars and Starburst. 
Roz, I'm not sure what hard boiled candy is or sherbert. 
Mike, I've never heard of those things you listed.

Oh my gosh, I wish I was a dentist/orthodontist in the US/UK - I'd make a killing!

I have no limits as to what I can eat... sugar in any shape or form is fine for whoever sends it! And I don't think we should have to keep this one secret, who knows, the receivers may want to discuss a more permanent trade deal with the senders

I'll leave applications for this open until Monday 5th March to give enough time for all interested people to sign up, then I'll randomly allocate trade deals

Admittedly I'm British, so I'm inherantly biased, and do feel free to hate me for saying this, but from my travels around the world so far... (and I hasten to add that I haven't been in the Southern Hemisphere yet ) I'm firmly of the belief that nowhere in the world offers such a broad and tasty range of teeth-rotting, bottom enlarging, hyperactive activity inducing sweets....

...although New Zealand offers a very tasty Cadbury Kiwi treat that makes it a real contender

It's a very good thing and a very bad thing all rolled into one

For adults it's very bad. For Children it's amazing.

Kelly - We dont have butterfingers here in Oz but they are YUMMY! I also love those peanut butter cups...cant remember what they are called...Reece cups or something. We can get these things but you have to go to specific shops that have imported choccies, and they cost a fortune just for one!
We have Jelly Belly's here too, they are nice

In Australia we have things (just to name a few) like.....

Chocolate:
Mars bars, maltesers, m&m's, snickers, crunchie, milky way, bounty, cherry ripe, Flake, Picnic, Time Out, Twirl, Boost, Caramello koala, furry friends, Freddo's, clinkers, toblerone, mint pattie, golden rough, milo bar, smarties, wagon wheel, aero bar

Lollies/Sweets:
starbursts, chuppa chups, jelly babies, snakes, frogs, raspberries, chicos, strawberries & cream, gummi bears, musk sticks, licorice allsorts, killer pythons

and of course our lovely tim tam biscuits

I have probably missed heaps but thats all I could think of at the moment...

Where I live the best sweet you can get is a Hershey Chocolate Bar (Milk Chocolate and Special Dark), but there are other delicious treats like the Reeces Peanut Butter Cups, Take Five, Kisses (with many flavors some are limited editions, too), Kissables, Kit-Kats, Almond Joy, Mounds, Twizzlers.

I live an hour away from the Hershey Chocolate Factory so we always get fresh sweets on our stores sold from there  The Hershey amusement park and "Chocolate Town" has the most yummy chocolate smell. In any regards, we have other brands from the Mars company and many more

I'll see if I can convince Mikey (zero) to join, too. If he joins, he could send some chocolate from Japan, too If he doesn't join, I'll just steel some from him His host-mum sends him the strangest limited edition Kit Kat flavors

*looks at all the foreign sweets and sighs* i have no idea what they are but everything sounds sooo good  . Here we get sweets from pretty much every spanish-speaking country too and i always get weird looks when i go sweet-exchange-shopping, i keep looking at the wrappers to see where they're made .

What about having a line or 2 under each name with what we "like" or "dislike" that way we'll have an idea of what to send and what not to? we do something like this in the other forum when we're having exchanges:

Name: XY
Country: XYZ
Yes: Chocolate, coffee, strawberry, ...
No: Crackers, peanut butter, pineapple, ...

Ooooooh and the Japanese have some very nice sweets. I'm not a fan of Pokki, but their fruit chews are particularly nice, and the "hello kitty" bubblegum is nice to look at if not to eat

In the US, the sugar-filled straws are called Pixy Stix (one of my favorites) and we also have Bubalicious Bubblegum.

Another favorite when I was growing up was flying saucers.  The outside was shaped like a UFO or Saturn (take your pick ) and made of a substance similar in texture and taste to a communion wafer you'd find at a Catholic Mass.  Inside were tiny, round candy.  I was the only person I knew who enjoyed them.
